Sarah stared at the black inscription. She knew who wrote it, that hand writing could not be mistaken in her eyes.

"Sarah is the Best"

The black stood out on the Brick Fence. Sarah took a deep breath. She remembered the first day she met her, the girl from the city, Jennifer. Jennifer had come to stay with her aunt, prior to that, she had moved from house to house. Not only had she tasted the irony of life, it had sunk deep down into her gut, and stayed there. Sarah had decided to stay away from her, but in a small country town, she simply couldnt help it. The two never knew wiether they were best friends or worst enemies, but they were inseperable either way... That was till Jake came to town.

"Sarah is the Best"

The words were being chiseled into the back of Sarahs skull. She felt her ribcage violently expand then let loose her breath. Jake had been Sarahs First Boyfriend, her first love. Yet he decided he liked Jennifer more. The day she caught them under the Bridge, was the last day she would ever consider Jennifer a friend. Pure enemies, from then on. She vaguely remembered running home. Crying. Why?

"Sarah is the Best"

Sarah Grinded her teeth together. So typical, she thought. She looked down the road, her eyes met the towns Statue. A man on a horse. Who knew who he was... Who cared? But it was the perfect place. She remember that day. It had been a week since she found Jennifer and Jake below the Bridge, A week with little contact with the outer world. A week to plan her revenge. Nothing too sinister, it wasnt like Sarah, but something needed to be done. It was midnight, Sarah had grabbed her Mums Art Texta, and Scribbled on the Statue. "Jennifer is Best." It was so cunning. Jennifer had confessed to Sarah a week earlier, that the towns police officer had given her her last warning. And this simple sentence would be the last straw.

"Sarah is the Best"

Sarah couldnt beleive that girl had the nerve. She must of done it sometime during the following 24hrs, after sarah Had done hers. Any later, and it would of been impossible. That night was a blur. All she remembered was the officer knocking on her door at middnight. Telling her that shocking news. Jennifer and Jake, they had decided to leave this place, but they... they had had a crash.

"Sarah is the Best"

Sarah started to laugh. It was almost sickening. How could she laugh at a time like this. But she was laughing because, it was so typical of Jennifer. Jennifer.. so cunning. Now everytime Sarah would visit Jakes Grave, Jennifer would make her presence known. Mocking Sarah. Sarah stood up, she looked into the cemetary, and watched Jennifers coffin disapear.
