If this is making you so nervous, you can abandon your plans. I hope that you are doing this for health reasons and not for vanity's sake. I can't understand why anyone would ever want that done. You're going to have to eat a bite of something every few minutes from now on. I can't imagine sitting down and not being able to eat more than just a bite. What kind of a job can a person have where they are allowed to eat constantly? The more I think about this, the more I'm convinced that you should abandon your plans. I wish you well. |

Try to calm down (impossible I know). The operation will help you improve your health. That can only be good! It is unlikely that the docs would have put you forward for this op if there were a greater danger than with other ops....huggss |

Sorry about the multiple comments. I w3as typing some thig else and I musta hit some button because it kept submitting it again. Lol. Only me!!What I was trying to write is that my friend had it almost a year ago. She is doing great and has lost over 100 pounds. The only problem is if she eats even 1 bite too many she gets sick to her belly, but she hardly does that anymore because she has learned. Well, take care, |

I wish you the best of luck SQKY, with any type of surgery ppl do get nervous it's normal. Try doing things to keep your mind off of Thursday..I saw this type of surgery done on the tv. I really can't say I'm for it but, if health reasons cause it then by all means I understand. (But also know if you become to uncomfortable about it nothing is set in stone you can change your mind at anytime.) I'm sure you will be fine hun. Take it easy..I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers..*hugs* |

For those that mentioned it yes it is for health reasons. I am not a vain person and I would never alter my body for reasons of vanity. I have severe asthma, diabetes, sleep apnea and arthritis. If I dont have the surgery I will be crippled before I am 40. ... |

SQKY, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I've heard that right after the surgery, there will be a great loss of poundage. I think waking up to that will be positive. LOL. You are going to have a brand new life, and be able to live again. Best of luck and my prayers are for you. |
