This poem is the after-math of my first serious relationship.
No will to go on
No reason to try
I sit in a corner
And begin to cry
Why am I so weak
And afraid to fight
Its so much easier
To cut my wrists at night
No one knew
It was only between us
Then the scratches
Turned into cuts
You once told me
You'd forever be my friend
That same night
My life came to an end
Broken promises
Now in the past
I have one thing
Left to ask
Why aren't you here
Holding me tight
Why do I wait for you
Late at night
You'll never come back
You've forgetten me now
I try so hard to forget you
