David stood there,still in slight shock,but a surging happiness was swelling in his chest,and the urge to jump and shout came to him.He decided to go with his feelings for once.

"My little boy is all grown up," sniffled Mrs Willin.
"Shae,The Boy is barely old enough to wash his own laundry,how is he going to handle a 'serious; relationship at fifteen?!I wasnt allowed to date until I was EIGHTEEN,and if it hadnt been for that,I'd probably be married to someone else around now!" argued Mr Willin.Mrs Willin pouted."Aw,but I thought you liked me liked me,Gar," she said in a teasingly childish voice."'Sides Gary,its the new millenium!Im hip!" Gary only rolled his eyes.Though he had to admit,his wife WAS the more open minded of the two.Also the slightly more insane.
"Honey,please reconsi-" "Im not listening to this!LalalalaLAlaLA!" sang Shae Willin,her fingers shoved in her ears.Gary rolled his eyes.She was also the more childish.
"Why did I marry you?" he joked,though his voice was laced with regret to make it 'believable'."Because you love me,thats why!" she announced,pulling on Garys tie,forcing his face to come down to hers to kiss.
"Eeew,parents kissing!My eyes!My eyes!They BUUUURN!"
teased David,closing his eyes and moaning in agony.He loved a joking family.
His parents only continued their show of romance.David rolled his eyes and headed for the kitchen.No matter how much they butted heads,he knew it was because his mother and father loved each other with no insecurities between them that they could joke as they did.He was sure any other couples would take their kind of jokes as cruel,not understanding the love entwined in each falsely insulting word."And they think they're cool.I guess mom is,but dad...well,thank god for mom!" he joked out loud."I heard that!" came a faint chout from the living room,while his mother laughed at her husbands pouting face. After making a PB and J,he sat down at the counter and proceeded to satisfy his snack attack.After a while,his mother and father came in,his father attempting a look of seriousness on his face and failing miserably,his mother grinning from ear to ear.They sat down on either side of him and both parental units smiled at him.No teeth,just a...smile...
David looked left,right,left,right.
"Mom,if its the underwear on the microwave,it wasnt me,I swear that was dad!"
"Hey,you promised not to tell!"
"WHAAAT?!"
There was an all out argument until,
"NO MORE!" was shouted.
The adults looked at the teenager."Now,why were you guys smiling at me like that if I wasnt in trouble?"
Shae and Gary exchanged glances. "You'll understand in three hours," replied his parents in unison.They smiled at eachother and left,leaving their officially confused son in the kitchen to ponder what tortured they were planning to inflict upon him.He shuddered."Heaven help me," he whispered,his eyes closed,faced raised to the sky.
