What are you getting or doing for your significant other for Valentines Day?

Aaaah February 14th, one of the most "Romantic" or NOt so romantic days for people,whether they are single, taken, or married. Some people look fwd to it. Do any of you? I think its cool when people are born on Valentines Day, but other than the whole Cupid thing and the St.Valentines day guy (and what is the theory behind that anyway?!) but... whats the POINT of celebrating Valentines Day? Well,...I know the OBVIOUS point to spend time or do something for your Crush,B/F, G/F, Husband/Wife, or even just friends.... but... what is the TRUE point of it, call me a Grinch but, is it not superficial and commercialized, like Christmas, I think this, has lost its REAL meaning.

WHAT are you guys DOING or GETTING for your "signficant" other, and WHAT are some ideas? Im prohibited to say, as, Sheldon belongs to USM lol (although my plans are minimal because I believe its nothing to get excited about) its just like its ONE day out the the year when you can shower ppl in gifts, when, there are 364 OTHER days where you can show them your love from the heart (and possibly surprise them throughout the year with gifts)...unexpected gifts are better than expected gifts, are they not? Ookay, I won't argue the fact that its NICE to do something for them, but, what do the average people do? WHY is Valentines Day so important? I don't really understand the whole meaning of it, Ive never really been that excited about it, but it doesn't mean I won't celebrate it lol I DO have plans hehe (HAH SHELDON if your reading this, I got MY plan for you ((its equivalent to the Brian and Sheldon plan but I also got something semi nice planned lol> hehehe... BUT..HEY If anyone wants to know my plans, they can just msg me but...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE enlighten me and tell me what the true meaning of Valentines Day is, and, your thoughts on it.
