Well, folks, once again Friday, February 14, we will celebrate Valentine's Day and have the opportunity to tell those special to us just how much they mean to us in whatever way we desire. Valentine's Day, as with many other occasions has become pretty commercialized and can tend to take a bit out of one's pocketbook if you're not careful.
So, I decided to do some brainstorming and come up with some ideas of things one can do for someone, without going into the poor house. Please feel free to add your ideas as well. I was going to seperate these by age group, but decided to put them all together and one can decide what appeals to their special someone.
Homemade Valentine's cards - Handmade or computer made
Homebaked goodies
Hide -14- cute numbered notes around the room or house for them to find eventually
Plant cuttings made into a new plant
Flowers from your garden
Make a special meal or make all the meals for the day
Celebrate with a different idea every day or for 14 days
Have someone take a nice picture of you, the children, the grandchildren
"Heart Attack" their car or room- Tape cut-out hearts all over it
Some websites I found with great ideas:

Have a happy heart-filled day!
Love, Hugs and Butterfly Kisses,
