To answer your question, Lucy, I don't like it because the jewelry is cheap and poorly made. I bought a wickedly cool necklace there and I had to replace the clasp three times in less than a year. |

Oh. You should try buying some of "No Boundaries" jewelry. It looks really cool, and it doesnt fall apart after a week either. |

I would suggest getting it pierced somewhere else, that doesn't use an ear piercing gun, those things are so bad for you're ears, and they're not very safe or clean at all, its pretty gross some of the things I've seen as a result of getting your ear pierced with an ear piercing gun. |

I got my ear pierced twice so far, both times with a gun, and I never got hurt. Plus, I don't have much money on me. |

I'll MAKE them sterilize it before they do anything to me. I know what I'm doing when it comes to certain things like that. I always make sure supplies are clean, whether I'm getting a facial or a doctor check-up. |

All they do it wipe it with alohcol(sp?) which does nothing for Hep B, and HIV, the only way to properly sterilize something like that, is to Autoclave it, which is impossible to do with ear piercing guns because the material is so crappy. |

I really wish you wouldn't scare the crap outta me like that, Moon Angel. *laughs nervously* I don't have enough money to get it done at a nice place, where I'd probably be charged $50 per ear. I never been to this mall, so maybe there'll be a safe place. I dunno. I need money for gas and I'm having trouble finding a job. |

DON'T go to Claires...my friend went there and they forgot to loosen the earring after they pierced her cartilage and she ended up in the hospital for a few days and almost lost her ear...I don't trust them either...went there twice and got mine done and both times, they were messed up and had to leave them close |

Hmmmm...I got them pierced there when I was six and then at some other place when I was 12. I'll just look around the mall tomorrow and see what can be done. Maybe I should wait until I can find a professional, huh? What places do you suggest, Moon Angel? |

the 3rd time I got my cartialge done, I went to a place called the Piercing Pagoda (don't know if they have that where you live or not) and I've never had any problems w/ the cartilage, had it done 4 years ago...I go there for all my ear piercings and they're pretty good about stuff |

with claires they will hand any idiot the gun... the people who do the peircing have no prior experince in peircing...every staff member who works there has to be able to peirce.... but there is no course or anything.. they hand you the gun and say "go for it!" |

I suggest, that is if you can just have them pierced in a tatoo shop, mine only cost me 15 dollars for the 3 piercings, and for cartilage it would have been 20-25 dollars. The place I had them done gave me the earrings then after about 2 weeks I could switch to my own earrings.Good Luck! |
