How to releave stress?

O.k. I'm going to college, I have course load of four classes. I'm also working part time, I work around 20 hours a week at my job, I'm also trying to do my wife mother things. I'm getting really stressed out, and my husband isn't being of any help. He just wants to point out what I haven't gotten done, not how good I'm trying to handle everything. I've tried to talk to him about it, but unless it is about the possibility of war, he don't want to talk about it. Well then there is another issue. All I hear about is the possibility of the country going to war. I try to not think about that, but when that's all you hear, it's hard. Does any one know how to relieve some of this stress so I don't go to crazy? Any advice would really be appreciated.

Date: 2/17/2003 12:45:00 PM  From Authorid: 61893    You need some YOU time. Find time everyday "some how," to be alone. Even if it is only for 30 min. I know how you feel tho, I have stress overload. Take a drive and bring along your favorite cd. Also, I hear kick boxing is very stress relieving. I haven't tried it yet, but I may..lol Hope things get better for ya. Babygurl-1

Date: 2/23/2003  From Authorid: 52489    Meditation is great for relieving stress. Read "Transcendental Meditation" by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He was the man who taught the Beatles to meditate! Great book! Also, his book, "Science of Being". It'll help!
