I think I wrote it in about 30 minutes. :) Today's the kind of day, That could melt all my troubles away, The sunshine's shining, The birds are singing. A slight breeze blows through my hair, Nothing can stop it from doing so, I have a smile stamped on my face, I can let it all go. A man sitting on the ground, Blankets cover his helpless body, Since today is a breeze, I drop a couple dollars and smile at him. Nothing makes my world lovelier, Than to help someone in need, I know one day I will be, Recompensated. Today's the kind of day, That could melt all my troubles away, The sunshine's shining, The birds are singing. A Big Mac and a french fry will do, Simple as that, it's all I need, Nothing more, nothing less, Something to eat will make me feel best. A couple is kissing in the park, Love is such a tender thing, Something everyone should experience, To appreciate life and care for everything. A butterfly perches on a branch, Many colours and sunshine wings, A radiant glow it projects, it soaks my heart with warmth. Today's the kind of day, That could melt all my troubles away, The sunshine's shining, The birds are singing. A slight breeze blows through my hair, Nothing can stop it from doing so, I have a smile stamped on my face, I can let it all go. A day I won't forget, Love surrounds me and everything else, A day I won't forget, It unravels itself in a peaceful way. Love yourself, And others will love you, Love yourself, And God will forgive you. I stop at Starbucks, The scents are exquisite, I can taste it on my tongue, I can see it in my eyelids. I walk down the street, It's very familiar to me, But as I approach my front door, I find 100 dollars at my feet. *Hope you guys like it, I was bored one day and decided to write a song. I know it doesn't rhyme, but I think songs don't have to. It came from my heart, and that's all that matters.
