I scared of hights (really high but not a plane) because I heard a story a guy got thrown from a ride at a carnaval and was killed because he feel from such a great hight that when he hit the ground it was like a spaltter. I dunno it just freaks me out to be sio high in the air...i like having my feet flat on the ground  |

My fears included being afraid of heights, snakes, and spiders..but my worst fear..the fear that consumes me the most is death..it's on my mind all the time...and nothing happened to me that made me scared of it..it just kinda hit me when I was 12 yrs old and has stayed with me.  |

My worst fear is storms. I live in MD and so Tornado's aren't that common around here. WHen I was in 3rd grade I was sitting with my grandfather on the deck of his pool and started seeing thunder flashing in the distance. THe wind picked up in a matter of seconds so we ran into the house. Well first off where we had been sitting, the wind picked up the umbrella that was in the table (you know how big those things are!!) and rammed in into the lattis (sp) RIGHT NEXT TO where we had been sitting. Right before we got to the house I had to throw some of my toys into the garage and when I hit the automatic door button to close it I looked up just in time to see a tree being ripped out by the ROOTS and fall across the road. (about 100 - 150 feet from where I stood) It fell across power lines and the electric garage door stopped. Later on I found out my grandfathers neighbor had stopped right before the tree fell and his truck had been trapped under the wires. He had to crawl out of his trucks window!!! (he didn't want to tuch the door handle, he was afraid he'd be electacuted. NE ways, that is why I am so scared of storms. It may not be that big of a deal but it scared the poopie out of me!!!!  |

my worst fear is spiders....and i know why when i was little i wanted a drink of water so i went into the bath room to get some , well i could not reach the faucets,but i saw a cup setting on the edge of the sink, and to my luck it had water in it!!! so i started drinking it.... and guess what when i took the cup away from my mouth, there was a dead spider in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my!!!!!!!! i wanted to die, so the fear of spiders comes from that...  |

I'm scared of rapists...I think because I've read so many horror stories about people getting raped and I'm scared that some day I might get raped and end up with an STI (Sexually Transmitted Infection) and/or pregnant...  |

Well I am afraid of dentists because a few years back I was having dental work done and the dentist didn't freze my nerve well. So in the middle of him drilling I felt the worst pain and I told the dentist that my nerve was not frozen well enough. Well he got all insaulted and told me that he can't finish the work because I was crazy. What a nerve huh?
Any how I eventualy seen a better dentist who finished the work and did a better job the first time. But I still am terorfid of dentists...

when i was really small, i had a dream that i went to this old hotel with my parents, and my folks were trying to check in, but there was no one around, so they kept ringing the little bell, and i went off to explore, I found the elevators, and the doors opened, and this old guy inside, motioned with his hand, for me to get in. so i did, and as soon as the doors closed, the guy disappeared, and the elevator dropped really quick, to the basement, and the lights went out. uhhhh, that scared me to death about elevators, and also kind of the dark. But i got over it, and i don;t mind it now. metal princess  |

Nothing really caused my fear of mirrors or camera's, they seemed to have come naturaly. But my fear of death, I think, has always been with me since birth. But I believe certain events caused that fear to become even worst. Like one time in school, I saw a presentation, talking about drunk drivers, but it may have well been about DEATH, and it really shook me up (It was over 2 or 3 months ago, and it's still haunting me) and 9 months ago, my father died, so that has REALLY encouraged me fear -Evil King Stan-  |

Not my worst fear,but I am very leary of elevators now after having been stuck in one at my old job,and having been told after I was ;et out,that the other guy almost di nto come to work that friday and was going to come in on sunday,and then finding out that elevator ahd no flowing air in it,I would have been dead had he not showed up for owrk..Lovely huh? so yeah don't like elevators too much..but spiders now they are what scare the heebies outta me :)  |

LoL, this was very interesting! Thanks for all your comments..since you all shared something I will share my fears...my worst fear is being in the woods, in the dark, all alone...my dad and I were out camping one night... we were sitting on a log and talking all of a sudden something screamed....This just wasn't a normal scream is was like a horrifying screech..scared the poopie outta me so now I hate being in the woods alone. -BB  |
