Daddy's Big Secret..........(freakin' hilarious)......~SpaceCase   Author:  53836  Category:(Poetry) Created:(3/7/2003 5:37:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (328 times) Now here's a funny tale You might have heard of such before Filled with paints for nails Boas, slips and heels galore The first time that I saw it I almost hit the floor 'Cuz my daddy had a secret That I'd never seen before Daddy waited, oh so patient For Mom to fall asleep Then he crept down the hallway Without making a single peep And he went up to the attic To the secret box he keeps And he opened up the lock And threw the stuff out in a heap Yeah my mama didn't know it But my dad was a little bit wierd It happened very quickly After he shaved off his beard... And I was young, but couldn't deny The troubling things that I did see When daddy put on womens' clothing After mama went to sleep Yes, he wore womens' clothing And he looked just like a girl I've never seen him as happy As in ribbons, lace and pearls And if you feel like you know him Well a sure fool you would be Cause Daddy wears my mama's clothing And he wears them so proudly >SpaceCase< sidenote: I've heard Dolly sing Coat of Many Colors so many times through out my life. She is truly blessed, and is a blessing to many as well. This poem can be read to her song, I just hope it would make her laugh, not cry...cuz I'm not making fun of her...just having fun with her genius tune!
