"I got sunshine, on a cloudy day When it's cold outside, I got the month of May I guess, you'll say, What can make me feel this way? My girl (my girl) my girl Talkin' 'bout my girl"

JEZEBEL: Tell us about yourself...
CRYSTAL PEAK: My real name is Amy, and I'm 12 years old (Going to be 13 on the 10th April). I live in Britain, and I'm Welsh. I love singing and acting, plus reading and writing. I'm quite a shy girl, but I like to think I'm quite friendly. I do all I can to help people, whoever they are. I love to draw, and I play a lot of instruments. These are the Saxophone, the Piano, the Steel Pans, the Keyboard and the Recorder. Yeah, so basically, I'm a busy girl. :-D
J: How did you come up with your screen name?
CP: First of all, I was Poke_Angel_Gal because I loved Pokemon, and I couldn't think of anything else to put. I changed when I got older, because I grew out of Poke_Angel_Gal and stopped loving Pokemon as much. Seen as though I adore magic and mystical things, I thought Crystal Peak sounded quite beautiful. Plus, I didn’t want a tag with an obvious animation on it. LSR helped me think of it, and I’m very happy with it!!!
J: How and when did you get to USM and what was it like then?
CP: I first came to USM on September 18th 12:48pm USM Time. My real-life Brother Stile introduced me to it. There were no such thing as chatmins, quite a lot less chatmins, and very many less USMers! There was no graphic at the top of the page, no Chat-2 and no USM Donation button. Oh, and there was no award page. Yet, everyone was friendly and ready to Welcome this newcomer from Britain.
J: Most memorable USM moments?
CP: Ahhh! There have been so many! I guess when I got the message from Ginger saying I'd been made a Tag Artist, I screamed with joy! Plus, when I got my first award from Banner for Fantastic writing! That was brilliant! Also, meeting so many of my friends! Oh, and of course getting the message from Jezebel! *grins*
J: What in your opinion are the best of/worst of USM?
CP: The best? Probably the wonderful people you can meet on here. The way everyone is so kind and loving to everyone else, that's amazing! The worst... maybe favouritism, or the way debates can get so heated.
J: Are there any specific topics you are passionate about, or like to participate in?
CP: Poetry and Strictly fiction. I can't write all of my poems and stories down, mostly because they are too long or complicated. I adore writing poems though, and when I get ideas I can't stop. The longest poem I've ever writing was ten A4 pages long, but that’s waaay too long to put up!
J: Ever have a paranormal experience?
CP: Yuhuh. Last year at a friends house we all saw a ghost. It was a woman called Mary who had been murdered by her husband. Plus, when I had a sleepover at my house, the bookcase suddenly started shaking and some books fell off the shelf. Whilst my friends were screaming, I said in a low voice "Stop it, go away, leave me alone" and it stopped. And then oh, there have been lots!
J: What are you up to when you’re not at USM?
CP: Playing music, reading, playing with my dogs and at school. And I like to go for bike rides just to see nature. Or I'm going to the movies with my best friend Linzi.
J: What would you do to improve the site?
CP: Hmmm... maybe swap some of the admins who don't come online much. And I'd make special people to talk to those who don't usually get seen. I think everyone deserves to be talked to.
J: Has USM changed or enhanced your opinion of people from other countries?
CP: It has firmly established my belief that everyone everywhere is a human. I've found out that there are millions of people on the earth, and they are all wonderful. Also, that I can get a load of really great friends.
J: Finally, what would you do if you were a ghost?
CP: I'd haunt the houses of people who didn't believe. *wicked grin* But I'd think I'd like to be a friendly ghost, and not haunt people. Plus, I would fly through the air and experience the feeling of Free Falling.
