well.. i think i don't have that many.. i'm 21 so it's a good start to a shoe collection... in the new place i want them all to have thier own little shelf but hey if i go out i want nice shoes.. if i'm mucking around i want ratty shoes.. if i'm goind walking i want somethnig i can walk in for hours.  |

No way!!! My mom stopped being a nurse for about 2 years to work as a surgery scheduel person and she had to dress up everyday...well her foot has been the sams size for many many years so all the shoes shes has are the same size, well she was moving outof her bed room and into our new addition (I love it, i have my own room!) well she counted 50 pairs of shoes! and unbelieveable shes wears every pair! She has like 4 pairs of shoes for each outfit. It's funny stuff! Now that she is a nurse again, she has less dress shoes and more nurse shoes..lol  |

I personaly don't have enough LOL you can never have too many shoes,it is nice to match different shoes to the same outfit LOL I have one pair of shoes I bought to match a long jean skirt and tan sweater top,I never get to wear the outfit ,so my poor shoes sit unworn since christmas LOL  |

ugh-- men just don't understand! A dozen is nothing-- I know people who have 30 pairs-- or more! Men can get by with just a few pairs-- some running shoes, hiking boots, and a couple pairs of dress shoes. For women, particularly professional women, it gets more complicated. Shoes have to be coordinated with different outfits-- you need different colors to go with different things-- different heel sizes depending on the style of the outfit, at least one pair of boots, sandals for the summer, a couple of different pairs of strappies for going out, running shoes for working out, and then another pair of tennies for just dressing casual, and then maybe a funky pair or two just to express yourself with-- with all these demands, it is not hard to amass more than a dozen pairs of shoes. And it's not like it's an option if you have a professional type job. Dressing right for the job is very important-- if you don't look professional and coordinated from your shirt to your shoes people will think you don't know what you're doing, you won't get promotions, you won't get taken seriously, you won't look good for job interviews. Good shoes are a must!  |
