Bangs Head On Desk!!----Moon Girl

Oh good grief! I have been non stop researching my vintage clothing! I still have found nothing! The poor lady at the shop is waiting for me to bring in the clothes! Yet I can't! I do not know how to price them!! Should I just price high & hope I'm not short changing myself! Or should I just sell the clothes on line?

For you that have no clue what I'm talking about!! I have ton's of vintage clothing! I'm trying to price them to get them in a shop! In my research vintage clothing starts at 60's 70's & 80's!! Well I have pre 1900's & 1920's 1930's 1940's & 1950's!

I have been researching since last night & most of today! I can not find anything on the web that I have! I'm tired & my eyes hurt! I can't do it anymore! Should I just sell them on line? What would you do??----Moon Girl

Date: 3/7/2003 8:48:00 PM  From Authorid: 4887    I would probably price them by what sentiment i have or by condition.
Date: 3/7/2003 8:48:00 PM  From Authorid: 23101    Moon Girl, I think that those clothes people might enjoy.. In my opinion you should price them in the middle. To me the 60's,70's,80's clothing doesn't seem old to me, but I don't know. People might want these.. MAYBE you should price them between $$ 50-100?? Maybe?? *Hugglies* :) XO XO XO, ~*LittleJung*~

Date: 3/7/2003 8:52:00 PM  From Authorid: 16845    or even someone who owns a antique store or an antique collector might be able to give ya a good idea.
Date: 3/7/2003 9:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 39258    why don't you just sell them high enough so you will make a profit.. you should remember how much you paid.. i'd just sell them on the internet. screw the shop, that's a lot of work
Date: 3/7/2003 9:19:00 PM  From Authorid: 17014    You could see if you could find similiar clothing on USM and see what the closing auctions are going for-- most bidders on vintage and antique things know the value of somethings. Have you tried all different keywords on search engines? Google? Yahoo? AskJeeves?
