As a matter of fact, I had been disconnected from AOL a few minutes earlier. When that happens, I sometimes play Spider Solitaire offline and that's what I was doing. I very clearly heard a man's voice and it was coming from the modem. It said, "Hello?...hello?.." I could tell that it saying more but I couldn't make any of it out. By the way, the speakers were turned off at the time and, yes, it was definately coming from the modem. It was totally quiet in here a few minutes later and I was just reading, when a woman's voice said, "No!" The way it was said made it sound like she was protesting something. Here's the scary part. The voice sounded just like the one on the enhanced version of the ghost audio that we captured over a year ago. That voice didn't come from the modem. It sounded like it originated from somewhere right here in the same room with me. I've decided that I'm going to have to start leaving the TV on but turned down low in the bedroom when I'm trying to sleep. The reason is so that it will drown out the music. I'm not sure how to describe the way it sounds. It's obvious that it isn't actually in the same room or even coming from next door or outside. It's sort of ethereal. There are times when I can't make out what it is but, don't laugh, most of the time, it's a slow instrumental version of Amazing Graze. My bride hears the music, too. How it changed my life: It hasn't changed my life at all. I find the voices interesting but the music is very annoying when I'm trying to go to sleep.
