check to see how much iron is in the vitamins your taking....I know there is another sleep disorder that you sleep all the time...but I don't know what it's called...check with your hospital and see where the nearest sleep clinic is to you....go and talk to them. they'd know more than your family doc. |

Stress can cause you to want to sleep alot and depression can be a cause also. Do you have either of these? If you do there are places I think that will help. |

It is normal for a teenager to sleep all the time, but not an adult. You could be anemic, low on iron. I used to take iron shots as a child because my body didn't retain it. You could also be overly stressed, depressed or both. You should check with another doctor, preferably of your same sex. I believe female doctors have a better understanding of problems particular to females and vice versa. |

No matter how much I sleep once I wake up I will get a severe headache and go lay back down. As soon as I lay down though I am sound asleep. I can be sitting here talking on the net and the next thing you know I am falling asleep. I feel like I am sleeping my life away. |

Talk to a doctor. It sounds like you may have either CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), or possibly Narcolepsy (spontaneous sleep disorder). Seek a medical diagnosis immediately; you don't want to fall asleep while operating a car or heavy machinery. --Arion1 |
