*HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT WAR?* ~Sista A

When I first learned about war, it's purpose, and it's consequences, I thought that only happened in the past, and was long gone, I never gave a second thought to the possibility of something like this happening. We are now facing one of the most important wars in our lives, which started on 9/11, when our country was threaten by terrorists. We're all now at risk of losing what means the most to us, freedom, and peace. We are also at risk of losing the people we care about, our own. I myself am at risk of losing my uncle and a good friend of mine, and I'm very worried that something may happen to them. This war is taking a lot from the citizens of America. It makes me mad, though it scares me. How do YOU feel about war?

Date: 3/18/2003 4:48:00 PM  From Authorid: 51247    War is Disgusting, and War is for the week. Im a strong beliver in Total Pacifism. Everything can be solved through non-violent means. I do have to admit although i dont want to. Prior wars have been very good for the economy... Its unfortunate.. really wars dont need to be.
Date: 3/18/2003 4:52:00 PM  From Authorid: 61893    It scares me, I am uncertain of our future. I have a lil cousin over there also, I fear for him so much :-(
Date: 3/18/2003 5:11:00 PM  ( Chatmin-FA )   It's scary. I'm not for it, but there's not much I can do.. I guess I'm really nuetral for this war now.. No I don't want to go to war but I see and understand the reasons on WHY we should go and they do make sense too me.
Date: 3/18/2003 6:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 51061    I understand the fears of everyone who wouldn't but now is the time for war, I am actually thinking about joining the air force due to these events, its a hard time for me to and I'm not sure what I'm doing but I don't want to sit back and be a coward I want to help. Good post litle Sista =)
Date: 3/18/2003 6:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 27270    I'm not going to lie, some aspects scare me to death and some sadden me deeply. But I fully support the war. I would rather solve the problem now in hopes of stopping it from getting worse. Will life as we all know it change? Maybe, I don't know. I'm scared to find out yes, but in one way, I don't think it should be avoided.
Date: 3/18/2003 6:06:00 PM  From Authorid: 58642    I'm not afraid of war. I completely support this war along with our brave and valiant soldiers on the front. People need to know that one of the reasons we are fighting this war is to free the oppressed people of Iraq and to provide greater security for ourselves as well as the rest of the world. Hussein isn't going anywhere, he would even kill his own sons to keep his power, a man like that must be stopped and a crummy little peace talk will never fix any of that. It's time to let him know that his crimes are coming back to bite him in the butt...It's time for us to stand up for ourselves. When the U.S. goes to war I will proudly stand alongside my country, those who do not should be ashamed. Now the thing you have to ask yourselves is when this war comes, who will you stand by? Dasvedanya.
Date: 3/18/2003 7:43:00 PM  From Authorid: 45619    well, hopefully i'll be signing up for the national guard this summer, but considering i'm a girl, i won't actually be in combat, which kinda sucks......but anyway.....i am not really sure how i feel about this war. maybe i'm a little too overconfident when i say that i think this war will be a short one. we have ways of destroying their whole means of communication, which i think will greatly impact their ability to even be a minimal force against us.
Date: 3/19/2003 2:57:00 PM  From Authorid: 51463    at first it scared me but now I realize that life does prevail. If we're at war tomorrow I'm still going to rehearsal for the play and dance and laugh with my friends, and I understand that for other people family members are going off to war and that there are worries. Some of my family members are leaving or gone as well, but I guess somewhere inside I have this feeling that everything will be alright. And though my english teacher likes to say "all we can prove is war kills" I still support the war. At first I didn't but thinking that in a few years I'll have children, I don't want them facing these problems. So that's the way I see it, and I support the people who are in the army because they risk their lives to protect our country. =-bootz-=
Date: 3/19/2003 11:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 39887    Sad but necessary. I feel like Toby Keith, mess with us and we'll put a boot in your....!I hopw we get Saddam and Osama this time, a double whammy!!This war will change the course of time, for the better I pray.
