Be all that you can be
the proud and the few
join the navy or
cross into the blue
Times in my life have seriously altered
a once planned future no longer remains
a simple act and all my dreams falter
due to that one question fight or be ashamed
It's time for action, no denying that
but here I am in midst of such chaos
not knowing how to face the facts
I have to do something even if my life is lost
I'm not afraid of death, God is with me
my family,my friends and my nation
is all that I fear because their safety lies in me
War's not near war is here I must hasten
I know what must be done
but it don't seem like enough
to take arms or lift a gun
my nation has much of this stuff
I'm here though Uncle Sam
I'll fight until I'm dead
and I'll do all I can
and I wont forget to fight with my head
I know I'm not alone in this dark time
others must come and lend a helping hand
come please, togeather everything will be fine
Because togeather we make our stand
