Okay I figured I'd post this in this section, its my philosphy on the world in general so to speak. The world (i.e. society and what not) goes in cycles. Usually one cycle starts and goes on for so long, then after a few runs (depending how stubborn people are) the cycle will be broken, and a new one started, that shall be followed until this happens again...Like with war for example: we have (give or take some years) a 10 year peace time, then like 5 years troubled (i.e. heated political talks, no action) time, then we have a war (usually under 5 years), then the cycle restarts... I noticed music goes with this too... For example when troubled times and war are around: rock and rap (or rebellion music or the age) is to be found, when good times are here then pop musics is also. Im going by popularity, obviously all genres always have no artist. Of course there are transition periods between all cycles: like from war to peace we have the obvious transition, or with rap to pop you see a few pop artist then gradually they gain the fame... So for example we are now leaving the transition of troubled times, and enterting the war times. We are also in the rock/rap part of music (sorry thats just my best way to relate the cycles into easy terms.) This actually may even help predict how long a 'war' period and transition will last... With music it seems every 3 or 4 years it changes. Well think on it: peace times (two phases of pop: transition and then the pop period), troubled times (pop dies down, rock/rap starts slowly reemerging), and then war times (we are in full blown rock/rap times), then it starts all over again. So to think on that, pop pretty much fully faded out in the beginning of 2002 (it barely seen 2002!) So then the Rock/rap started coming back and now is full blown... I think if this is correct, that rap/rock will only have a hayday for tell the end of this year if even that (though it tends to hold on stronger in its transition times) By 2004 it will slowly begin its decent, and by the end of 2005 pop shall have started remmering, probably coming back full blown by 2006. So if this is correct this war wont be to long, at most it'll end at the end of this year, but it may end before that...Then reconstruction will began, along with the begin of descent of rock/rap... Does that make any sense to anyone? I dont think we're due for a 'new cycle' yet...in about 20 years maybe... I think these cycles have something to do with the number 3,6, or 9, but to be honest I dont know which one number, or if it goes in that order or what! Technically we have had 'this current' cycle go on oh about....4 or 5 times....so either this is the last go at it (meaning this cycle is 6) or there are 3 more... What do you all think?
