TAKE CARE OF THE ANIMALS IN TIME OF WAR/Thoughts on war   Author:  18506  Category:(Interesting) Created:(3/19/2003 6:06:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (348 times) Right after 9/11 they told us to get our 'survival packages' together. Now the news is saying, 'don't forget about your animals. Get the survival packages ready for them too. The food, blankets, plenty of fresh water for them, their bowls, toys, leashes, etc.' I have three dogs and a cat. Naturally they are part of my family/my children. If something should 'happen' and we had to leave, naturally they would go with my husband and I. As much as the news is talking about gas masks and the water being poisoned and to 'be prepared', It has me nervous. Not like nervous because I am afraid to die, because death is the only thing promised to us when we are born. But nervous like anxiety, like 'what's going to happen next?' Not only that but is it just the news making all this stink or does the gov't know more than they are even really SAYING? Basically, the way 'they' are talking, it's like it's a POSITIVE that we will be attacked on American soil. And HOW BAD WILL IT REALLY BE? And last but not least, they talk about having this survival kit ready, well if it happens, more than likely we all will be at work/the kids at school. Or say it's Sunday, okay, so we have our survival kit and we're with our families and plan to meet the rest of the family and get the 'heck out of dodge.' Well I live in Dallas Fort Worth, does anyone REALLY think we'll make it out of the big city and into a 'safer' place? I mean the highways will be 'crazy'. There will probably be people dying on the highway just trying to escape the 'terrorists'. I would hope that each and everyone of us can BE with our loved ones when and IF it happens. Maybe when most of us are asleep it would be the best time. Never knowing what even hit us. I would hate for anything to happen while most of us are at work. If God spares us of anything, pray he spares us of being separated from our loved ones during a terrorist attack. (IF IT SHOULD HAPPEN!) These are my thoughts today. I would loved to hear anyone elses thoughts at a time when all of us NEED to know we DO HAVE Gods loving hands around us, and Gods loving angels surrounding us. GOD BLESS US ALL.
