I do apologize if something like this has been posted before. I remember staying at my Grandmother's house during the summers, usually that's when all the "cousins" would be around. We used to spend hours on hours playing with one another. We used to play hide and seek, and sometimes it would end up in her house, because we ran out of places to hide outside. We would get into trouble, because she claims if you play hide and seek in the house, it would cause you to have mice in the house. Anyone heard that before? It's kind of funny, because at the time I believed her. Although, I'm not sure if I believe it or not now, I do catch myself telling my children not to play for the same reasons! LOL. The same Grandmother who told me about the mice, also had another old wives tale. She used to say if we ran around the house more than 3 times someting would start chasing us. You have to understand, I'm Native American, so these stories are real to me. I'm sure it's just something she used to say, but like I said earlier, I do find myself telling my kids the same thing.
