Im not supportive of saddam hussein at all.I was just thinking about if was I in the situation as a civillian.dont hate anyone because they are arab decent.it is wrong.I just want people to remember always pray for the best not the worst and treat others kindly.ya know what I mean. so we are at war.I dont like war.no one likes war.Imagine being at war here in our country.it wouldnt be so glamorous would it.to know that we have to leave our homes and our life behind momentarily, hoping every moment that goes by that we could return to the way it was before.but nothing is ever the same.it is different.imagine what your life would be like.you have minimal food and clothing.your house is your castle, but not for long.your house is soon a site of devistation.your in a rush so you leave behind picture and items of sentiment.knowing there is a possibility they will be destroyed.no more memories to look at upon the picture page.momentos of your child growing years gone.Imagine huddling together with the wail of missles overhead or off somewhere in the distance, the tears of your children burning down their faces.mommy they cry as mother holds onto her child.shivering and shaking.daddy?where is he, is he coming home?hold me they cry.Imagine your job.the one thing that feeds your family.there is no job.you cant go.so you dont know what you are going to do to care for you family.what about school?everyday we take school for granted and yet you worry about school and your friends.there is no school today....there is no school....I dont know when school goes back or if there is a school.education is so important and school is not possible right now.what about a romantic walk under the moonlight.there is no moonlight, only the flare of a scud missle and the smokey damage to fill you lungs.all those pretty flowers you planted.....they will grow back maybe.where are your other family members......aunt uncle grandma grandpa?...you dont know, as you refuge across the line to "safety" you search the crowd feverishly to no avail....how long do you have to hide from home?how long till you know if you family is alright.granted we live life in freedom, but what if war took our freedom.we would still be free in our country but prisoners of casualty.its domocracy your own way.fighting for food from a trucked shipped in.rationing water.sure you can always go home.but if we had war on our own ground where is home?there is alot at stake with war.democracy freedom dictatorship, a way of life.we are used to life in "freedom", but when its all over people fight for their way of life.....we all know what type of person saddam hussein is, he is a tyrant......but the people are not all like him.they live a life different than ours, but not much different.they have families, work, school. the kids want to play outside and right now they cant.the familys want to feed their kids but in fear they do feed them.fear of their own govt. and fear of our.Im in no way defending a tyrant leader.but on both ends of the globe war is no good.we wait for family to return safely from war.they wait for the return of home.I hope even though we are in serious conflict with another country no one forgets.the people of iraq are not much different than us.they live and love their family.there is no reason for anyone to have racist veiws of our own ameracan people.my best friend is arab and she worries about people coming after her family even though they are not from iraq.she is a good loving helpful person.america is the great melting pot of the world, and they are part of it.I hope people dont hate because of one or two mans actions and distorted beleif.it is a hard time right now.people are worried about family over seas, whether they are us military or family in iraq.we should all be praying for each other not destroying each other.we should be caring and sensitive to each others needs.fear can take hold and hazerdous consequences follow.love your neighbor.and realize there is a common goal here.we should be supportive of all americans and fellow people involved.I dont support war........but I do support my friend and her family.they beleive there needs to be something done, and worry dearly about their family members over seas.I hope for the best outcome. imagine if the shoe were on the other foot and we had to leave our lives behind.I thank god we dont.
