As some of you may know already from a previous post, my husband and I have a ghost in our house named Sam. Well, we went to visit relatives for the week of Christmas and had given a key to my neighbor so she could take care of our kitty cat. Well, my neighbor called me in a panic the next day saying that I had given her the wrong key, and she couldn't get into the house. I urged her to try to break in or at least listen closely to see if she could hear my kitty. She called a friend to try to get the door open, but were having a hard time. She called and told me that although she couldn't get in, she was hearing voices inside and asked if I had left the TV on. I was sure I had turned off all the lights and the tv. She also said that she could hear my cat purring and meowing behind the door. Since we had flown to TX and the weather was bad, we couldn't leave any sooner than planned, and even when we finally did leave we had a couple of delays for weather. The cat had been locked in my house for a week with no one to take care of him, or so I thought. But when I burst in the door, I picked up my cat and seemed healthy and happy. I checked his dishes and he had fresh water and a freshly opened can of cat food on a plate on the kitchen floor. My husband and I were dumb-founded, and when I called my neighbor to see if she had managed to get in after all, she said no. So I told her what we had found. She was just as surprised as we were. Just then my water faucet in the kitchen turned on full blast and the lights started flickering, and the tv turned on full blast. It was almost as if Sam was re-announcing himself. When my thick skull finally registered the fact that our ghost Sam had fed the cat, I thanked him and he turned the water and tv back off. If it weren't for Sam I don't think we would have come home to a healthy kitty. How it changed my life:It has renewed my faith that people are good at heart, even after death.
