Good question! I don't think he'll kill himself. I do see him getting shot to death by a soldier, while trying to defend himself. If we capture him alive, he will face trial for war crimes and get life in jail or the death penalty. He's 66 years old. Not much more life for him to live. -  |

I think he will live till he dies of old age we won't catch him because he has too many hiding places underground, also he has men who have had plastic surgery so they are an exact replica of him. This is just my opinion I may be wrong and I hope I am, I hope they get him soon and this thing is over as quick as it started.

i honestly think he is dead already. i've had that feeling since the first night. he could have pretaped that video - and it makes sense that he would...as they're saying, there is no coordination in their military - no communications..no retaliations.......saddam is dead - methinks.  |

He's a cockroach. He will survive anything we could possibly throw at him, and he will get all his buddies together and retaliate on a level at least one hundred times what we're throwing at him now. I wish he would up and croak so that Bush no longer has an excuse to be in this reveng-based war that I believe he planned since his election. It's a well known fact that the Bush's have hated Saddam since Desert Storm and Bush Sr.'s failure to get him then. If you don't believe me, then recall one of the things Bush Jr. said when this started: "He's [Saddam's] a bad man, he hurt my Daddy."  |

i just saw a report that says US intelligence now believes that saddam and his sons were in that bunker we busted the first night --------that's not saying he's dead or anything - - - but, how else would they know if he weren't at least wounded? they've been saying they thought we did get his sons...i swear ----i really think we did get him that first night. they've said he has body doubles..and, that video of him sure was different than how he normally looks in his suits - he had on those thick glasses.and hat (which he didn't have on earlier ven tthough he had on his uniform).. |

My first choice would be that we could donate him a coffin to be cremated in, second that he would have to spend a life sentence in one of our prisons and paint his cell red, white and blue and make him listen to Toby Keiths song and he'll know who put a boot where it belonged!!!  |

Heather..I think you are the first one I have seen who is saying the same thing I have been saying from the very beginning. I think Saddam was seriously injured, then died in that first strike. I had the strongest feeling that he and the others who were there with him were killed, among who was supposed to have been his two sons. Saddam had been expecting the US to strike so he was prepared for a war, but after the first strike Iraq did not retaliate immediately..It was as if something happened to shock them and no one was prepared to carry out the war plans without a leader. Also..The US is progressing faster in the Iraq war than history has ever known. If Saddam was able to command, this would not happen. Saddam would not idly sit by while the US takes over Baghdad. He would put up a greater fight. After he supposedly appeared a few hours after that first strike, he is not even heard of in Iraq. We no longer hear his threats, etc..If he is not dead, he is very close to death.  |
