I worked at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Fond du Lac, WI and yes, it's just as they described, footsteps, water turning on, lights flickering and one room is always cold, so they don't rent it out anymore unless they get a guest they don't like, we don't know exactly what goes on in that room once someone is in there, but they leave in a rush and don't come back! As for the octagon house and the seminary, I've driven by them but never gone in. The ghost that we have lovingly named Sam that lives in our house is enough for us. |

I live in Knoxville, Tennessee and I knew about a lot of them, like the Bijou Theatre and Lakeshore Asylum. I had no idea about Halls High School though. I knew a few people that went there. Strange.  |

I used to drive by The House With no Corners in Bull Valley IL every day on the way to work and there is a door that leads to nowhere. I could never fins the courage to drive by it at night though so i went around the road at night on the way home. And when I was in high school a bunch of us used to drive out to Bloods Point in Cherry Valley/ Rockford IL. We never really saw anything but there is a creepy air in that whole area-- including the roads around Bloods Point Cemetary, Bloods Point Road and Sweeney Rd. There are many more stories about that area that aren't listed on the site. :)  |

My town is finally on the list! My class used to go to the Glanmore House in Belleville, Ontario. There were stories of a baby being killed there, and the mother being so upset that she threw herself off the roof. I don't remember any ghosts, but there was an old picture on the wall of a woman who looked just like me..  |

I'm from Kentucky and I've been to the ARH hospital,Mamouth Cave which at one point they turn off all the lights and your submerged in darkness its SCARY! and there is also a man buried in the cave he was an indian. It had a really mournful feeling to it. Ive also been to pine mountain it's REALLY isolated.Ive been to the cumberland lake bridge thing I've been to Alice Lloyd College. Huntsville - Bowden " Demons " Rd. - Reports of handprints being left on witnesses 92 vehicles by unseen hands, apparitions, and a strange creature with no face. Huntsville - Oakwood Cemetery - This is the cemetery where General Sam Houston is buried, and also where the statue college kids call black Jesus is located. It's a bronze statue on the far north edge of the cemetery, kind of in the middle. It is in a gorgeous spot with palms and it is recessed into the woods a bit, with benches and such. All the graves in the cemetery are laid out with the feet facing East, this families graves are the only ones where the feet face west. A family erected the statue when there 5 year old son died and the bronze soon weathered to a black color that could not be cleaned. The Jesus is a classic pose with the hands out stretched and palms up, except sometime when you go out at night the hands are turned down! Huntsville - Walls Unit, Tex. Dept. of Corrections - Walls Unit, Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice. - Ghosts and unexplained noises on the original death row (first floor of the South Building, not used since the 1950s), the East Building, and the catwalk connecting the two. One Halloween a correctional supervisor put a voice-activated tape recorder on the now abandoned old death row. When he played it back later for several correctional officers, they heard the clanging of cell doors and at the very end an unidentified voice saying "Hey captain, Hey captain." Houston - Klein Collins High School - Klein Collins is a brand new school that was made in the middle of the woods recently which was actually built over a burial ground. Most students have been mentioning how they hear and sometimes see two 5 years old holding hands and running down the hallways. And my boyfriend attends this school though I've never heard about the two kids who knows... |
