Well , if Tom T. Hall were deceased he would roll around in his grave laughing because , everyone would think he was a profit due to his song titled " The Monkey That Became President " .... With George W. Bush as our commander and chief and watching his actions ever since he has been in office , I have been wondering if he is not a puppet on the hand of Vice President Cheney ???? Cheney has been deliberately silent and made sure he has not drawn attention to himself and , during the 911 saga he was the only noticable elected official that went into hiding . This leads me to beleive that HE chose BUSH as a running mate and , not the other way around . Why would it not be our commander and chief going into hiding finding alternate ways to get his decisions to military officials and intelligence agencies and processing the information he needed to in order to make such decisions UNLESS he were just doing as he is told by the perverbial " Man Behind The Curtain " ????
This situation also purplexes me because here we are , 15 years after the fact of Desert Storm and we are only now deciding that it is time to take Saddam out of power for the attrocities he has comitted ever since he and his hoodlum sons have had free reign over Iraq ???? Please !!!! Stop insulting my intelligence !!!!
It seems to me that ONCE AGAIN , we are fighting Isreal's war for them to simply allow our young men and women to die to hand over yet more territory to Isreal as it has been said would be the nation that the USA would trust to govern and run Iraq once we finalize our objective . This is just a battle over oil but , it is a war that should have never been . Saddam should have been executed the first go around , the territory could be governed with equality just as easily by Jordan as Isreal , Cheney needs to be put on the spot and in the spot light for a while just to see how Bush fares w/o him , and we need to look at how many other countries we are making enemies of due to the actions of our military and the harsh words of George W. Bush when he made it a point to say the UN was irresponsible so we needed to sluff off thier input and go bombing Iraq anyways in his first address to the nation when the 48 hour curfew was given to Saddam !!!!
People keep saying that the world is getting better and , our nation stronger since 911 BUT , SHOW ME WHEN WHERE AND HOW !!!! I am not trashing our country nor any other country because , the only thing that makes a place good or bad are the people and circumstances that control it . I wish Cheney would step from behind the curtain , admit the agenda he has in mind , withdraw from Iraq instead of comprimising our young men and women who should not be forced to defend a people that do not even want us there because of the way we have inflamed the temper of Saddam and his sons towards them . If there is a valid reason for us to be there in Iraq to liberate it's people then God help me for saying this , for all that they have been through thus far , the best thing we could do for the sic , the dying and the rerst are too down trodden to ever enjoy life so , my proposal is Iow Gima ( Sp? ) II : Iraq .... This sounds inhumane but those who would be greatful for the life they were able to hang onto could build a new Iraq with the help of the government funds that we give to every country to prepare them for when they think they want a re-match as to where those who have suffered and will continue to would find a peace beyond this world .
Unfortunately , Iow Gima ( Sp? ) II is not an option here and we are not there for the reasons that Bush and the media would have us all beleive so bring the armed forces back home where they bnelong with thier families because the road we're currently travelling I for one , fear will lead to WW III thanks to Bush's UNETHICAL claims of the UN and our actions that no other major player in world defenses will back us on . And people , if you do not beleive that it is possible for the UN to decide to overthrow OUR government and appoint new officials that are less abbrasive and bend more thier direction ( hence : a new world order within 2 years ) , you are mistaken . This is not an all bad thing but it will leave us without the right to convential self defense weaponry . This means , abandon your right to keep and bare arms , go unconventional !!!! Now days , we do have working lazer guns that can set a human being on fire from 2 miles away and melt wrought iron , and they will never be able to stop people from having access to knives , swords , bows , etc. . I know it all sounds outlandish but take 2 weeks to think of this absurd ( as I am sure you are thinking all of this post is ) discussion and then think of the direction the world has gone politically and lawfully and look at the direction it is TRUELY heading now and then let me know how absurd this post really is ....
