It may have become demagnetized or the disk is old or there may be something wrong with your floppy drive. Try a full format on it first, if that doesn't work then that disk is ruined, try a different disk, if a new disk doesn't work then there is most likely something wrong with the drive itself. It could be an old disk. Or it could be that the school computer systems have undergone changes. I suggest you back up whatever is on the FLOPPY diskette, and then format it. If that doesn't fix the problem, then the disk is dead.  |
