Before attempting to prepare this recipe, please be aware of possible hazards and take the appropriate safety precautions. Metal lids that you remove from cans are sharp. Stoves tend to be hot when they are in use so exercise extreme caution. Trying to consume a whole can of anything in one bite may be a choking hazard. With that being said, let's cook!
Ingredients:
1 can of black-eyed peas
Open a can of black-eyed peas and dump them into a pot. Heat them until they are warm enough for your taste. Rice is optional. Eat the little suckers and then email at least a hundred people to tell them how awesome they were. Feel free to pass your 'secret recipe' along. Repeat the above procedure with another can. Eat until you puke. Take a nap.
A man was approached by another man at an airport and asked for the time. His reply was, "It's exactly 3:23 and 21 seconds p.m. EST. The humidity is 48 percent. The temperature is now 68 degrees Fahrenheit. We are now in the cycle of the full moon and next week will be a great time to start planting gardens."
The other guy gave him a puzzled look. "How could you know all of that?" he asked.
The reply was, "I invented this watch and it does everything. You can check your email, watch satelite TV, make international phone calls, send faxes and lock into global positioning if you're lost."
The man knew that he had to have it. "I'll give you a thousand dollars for it right now," he said.
The offer was declined and the man kept raising the amount of his offer until it finally reached ten thousand dollars. The inventor explained that there were still some bugs to be worked out with it but when the he finally gave in and agreed to take the man's offer. The man took the watch and started to walk away with it.
The inventor held up two large, heavy suitcases and said, "Hey! Don't you want the batteries?"
