todiefor77. I gather that from what I have heard so far, that this is part of the reason we went ahead without the UN. Was that this stargate and the technology it offers is so great that in the wrong hands, it can cause a lot of problems. And whoever has this and knows how to work it will be king of the hill. And you know our goverement. "Can't be having that." LOL Makes me wonder just what all this stargate can do. Or what technology it offeres. God Bless |

WOW!!! Could this be true? There is a movie though that has the same name: Stargate, and it does take place in Egypt and some pyramids. Probably it is true and that is why Hollywood is making those films, to let us know, implicitly, what is going on since the Government is keeping everything secret and unlisted. Great post!  |

Hi Cherokee, When I got home from work today I had an email from a very good friend about this Stargate. He asked me what I thought about it since I am very familiar with Sitchins works. I was skeptical and asked for more information and a link to the peoples site. He replied and I checked it out. I do not believe it. The impression I got was that there are some very serious people who are pursuing a theory, and they have based much hope and speculation in thier project and are pursuing it but I believ they will be very disappointed in the end. This Stargate theory is just wishful thinking and speculation at best and possibly just a hoax at worst. Bottom line, there is no stargate. Bye for now. Enki  |

Thanks for the links. :-) I will check them out after I am done here. Just out of curiousity, let's say they do find this "stargate" and it proves to be something incredible. Do you think our goverment will let us know about it? I doubt they will, because of a number of reasons. Has it ever occured to anyone how a lot of these theories come out AFTER the FICTIONAL movie or TV show? The Matrix is another one. People have begun believing the Matrix is real after the movie came out. The star gate was way know way before it was SCI-fi film/series.I know for a fact that there are 4 known stargates on Earth,and they are not what you would think of in those sci-fi props.They are either huge stone monuments,hidden areas of sides of moutains,one is under the ocean (I've heard),and as the others are not well known to me.I only know one is in Mexico,it in this pryamid/temple that is covered by junlge and soil (looks like a hill or mound).My elders told me of tis lengend of some the Maya who would go through this magical foggy like doorway which stood vertical on this platform made of stone powered by crystal in side the structure,to bad they didn't tell me where to find it. :( Oh,and those crystal skulls hold pre-programed navigational map or key (?) to the land of the gods and secret imformation.I'm sure there is more of these stargates,but most might be destroyed. -Quetz. |

Okay, I stand corrected that the idea of stargates has been around long before the TV series, but I hold that the series is still simply fiction other than the name (the stargate sites I just visited hold very different views of what they are). I also still personally believe that such things on TV, etc. are only for entertainment, and things like stargate are for recreational interests like movies based on the vampire legends and such. This in no way implies that people on this post have asserted that the series is true, but there are people who take things made for entertainment and try to fit it into reality. ~GypsyHawk~ |

Yea, I agree some people do start believing in the tv shows and stuff. However, I wasn't refering to the show "Stargate".. but another show I had seen on the discovery chanel, when they were searching inside of a pyramid. Then I started hearing things about what they found etc. God Bless |

just saw your post, as I was searching the conspiracy section. And I must say I to watch that program, It was on the Descovery Channel, they drilled a hole in what was thought to be a kind of door and stuck a camera in, but what they saw was nothing but another small room with another door on the other side. To tell you the truth it didnt really interest me but I wouldnt of minded to see the next part of the documentry. Cant say I've heard what you have about the program but I think im gonna do the same as you and look into it. I think the program was on about 1 or 2pm, well sometime between 12 and 4pm, as I've got digital and theres another channel called discorvery + which is exactly as the other one but shows the programs that showed an hour before. let us know when if you find out interesting out.......  |

I think ideas come from the subconcious and superconcious ! I believe ideas float around and are shared sometimes . Maybe the idea for Stargate comes from something that actually exists .
