I think the question is: if God is perfect love & perfect everything.....he (God) created "Satan". Now-if Satan had the free will to "sin" & "rebel" than GOD had knowlage of "sin" and "rebellion" too....which means God was not REALLY perfect, right? I mean, if He (God) was supposed to be all things...wouldn't that mean the bad things, as well as the good? |

and, I think it is not fair, to send PPL to hell, if they do not know Jesus as their personal Lord & Savior, if say, they have never heard of him..so, where do those PPL go? They cannot go to Heaven, only the good & faithful can....do THEY go to hell? Like the Native American Peoples? The Egyptians? The Druids? |

Well, I believe that the way you are forgiven is by asking for forgiveness, but if you don't ask for forgivness, then you can't be forgiven, and the sin will be held against you. It is up to us to seek for that forgivness. God Bless :-) |

I'm part Native American and the Great Spirit or Grey Spirit as some tribes call it, refers to the same God as Catholic, Baptist etc. I would think that if you lived somewhere were you never even heard of God, that maybe he would be understanding because He is said to know everything. Hmm makes me wonder though.. of course I have my own issues with the Bible too. Still a good post. :-) God Bless |

Not one of God's children will go to hell. In my understanding, the Bible does not describe all of us as "His children." |

The bible tells us that God so loved the world that He gave Jesus for our sins. Jesus paid the price. God sends no one to hell. Those that refuse Him send themselves there. BUT the point of this post, YOU have said the CHRISTIAN GOD and so I'm telling you what we as christains believe concerning what we believe the CHRISTIAN God says. |

In answer to the question you pose, LSG ("which means that God (was -sic) is not really perfect right?" , I would say: Do you judge (form an opinion) prior to the totality of a Being's Plan reaching any kind of finality? A bit pre-mature of a judgement if you ask me. BTW, on one of these other posts I asked (after one of your long, copied dissertations) how do you know if Lucifer's being banished from heaven wasn't a part of God's Plan? (I'll allow the calling of Lucifer in your comment "Satan" as I do believe he was adversarial to God). God Bless. |

This is what I believe. It's not a matter of him punishing His children. We, as His children, choose. We choose to believe in Him. We are sincere if we are sorry for our sins. The Lord knows our hearts. It's like the bible says, he knows everything about each of us. Down to the number of hairs on our heads. He sees and notices and feels what each of us goes through. He mentions a sparrow that falls, he sees it. As Jesus said, Aren't we more valuable than a sparrow? I don't think it's a matter of Him being cruel. It's a matter of our choices. If we are truely sorry for what we've done. A human can't tell if someone is going to hell. Only God can make that judgement, like I said before, He knows our hearts, He knows if we are sincerely sorry. |

Hi Moonstorm..Good question..You know.. Many people are under the impression that simply because God created Adam and Eve and made it possible for them to multiply, that all people belong to God. From the beginning this was not so..From the beginning God reqiured certain things of anyone who claimed to be His children. Remember the story of Cain and Abel?..Cain was not pleasing unto God but Abel was. Cain was evited from the presence of God. Because he disobeyed God's commandments, he was not pleasing unto God. Cain was considered to be a son of the evil one, which is Satan. All through the O.T. and the N.T. we can read about people who obeyed God and they were called God's people. We read about those who refused to obey God's commandment and they were called the children of Satan. In the O.T. in order to be called a child of God a person had to follow the laws of the O.T. which were given to the peeople by God through Moses. In the N.T people must follow God's laws which was given unto us by God Himself His Son Jesus Christ, who came from heaven and became a Son. If we refuse to follow the laws of God, then we are not His children. God gave us all a choice. We can obey God and be called His children or we can refuse and God calls those Satan's children. In other words, you are the child of whom you choose to follow. I hope this helps answer your question..If you would like to study God's Word or if you have more questions,I would be happy to try to help you. (((Hugs)) and may you continue to ask questions regarding God's Word. |

Jestr, in a way, your right on the choosing part, God has chosen THIS whole world, Now he is just waiting for the people of this world to choose him. HE laid out all the secrets of satan the father, or God of this world, and how one already belongs to him, GAVE all the answers to us, yet some people are stubborn they would rather, stay with the god of this world , satan, and go to be with him when they die, then they would to listen to God, as God says, HEY, I LOVED you FIRST, here is the way out!! But God does not push himself on us. |

Anyone ever read Memnoch the Devil by Anne Rice? It poses the interesting question of God perhaps not having a plan. Like I always say, it's one thing to prove God exists, it's quite another to say what his nature is. |

There is only One God; using the term "Christian" God is a misnomer. Just because someone hasn't heard about Christianity does not mean He will condemn them. If people want to reject God, then He's not going to force Himself on them. It's just that He has given humanity that choice, and as KC says, if their choice is to scoff at what He Has Revealed then it is THEIR CHOICE that condemns them to that revealed "place". God Bless. |

I find God cursing the entire human race for what Adam and Eve did and then requiring us to ask for forgiveness complete stupidity. |

Rod^^..Why is it so hard for people to blame themselves instead of blaming God? God didn't curse the human race. Humans curse themselves by their choices. God created Adam and Eve perfect but they chose to do evil. Their choice brought evil upon mankind. Let's look at things this way..President Bush has a choice. By his decisions he could cause WWIII..If he did cause WWIII, then we would suffer the consequences. That's what happened in a sense with Adam and Eve. People had to suffer the consequences because of their choices. God didn't then simply turn His back on humanity, instead He made a way back to Him by giving the law of Moses. That failed because of human choices, so God offered Himself in order to save mankind. Because of human choices, many will refuse to accept God's great love and sacrifice and they will bring a curse upon themselves. Regardless, God shows more love in one single thought than the entire human race combined. |

God's Word says that He is a fair and just God. Would God be fair and just if He would allow anyone who has never heard of Him to go to hell? Personally I do not believe there is anyone who hasn't heard of God. God works on the heart of those who are willing to come to Him. IF there are people who are willing but has never heard His Word, God will make sure His Word is taken to them. God says that ALL will hear His Word and will be judged by His Word. He knows if there are some who may not have such a great opportunity as we have to hear His Word and He sends His Word to them. |

ahhh Rusure gets at a question at the heart of the issue. God in the Heart Of MAN... Soooo is that saying that "God" is the ONE entity that each culture interprets in their own way?? Is "God" by any other name still the same "God"? ***another thought after reading many of the replies... this perfect world created by god accounting for all paths, (satan included), seems a bit like a huge collossal game... Like, I give you life, and love you, as long as you choose my way... and if you don't choose to worship the one and only ME, I still love you but you must burn in the lake of fire for eternity as consequence for this choice... you choose. hmmmm.... *** I would further like to say, I am debating a point, and please not to take this as flippant, in attack of a belief system... thank you |

good point. that is the very FIRST question i ever had that led me on the path to enlightenment. no, he would not condemn his children to 'hell' , moreover, he certainly wouldn't condemn them JUST because they were born in another country - that believes another religion. they might be wonderful people, good , helpful..all their lives striving to find their god (be it buddhism or other religions)...do you think 'god' would be so cruel as to condemn them to hell? i think not. |
