CHAPTER 2 - Dreams Can Come True The next morning I woke up pretty late. I got dressed and went down stairs and ate breakfast. Then I went back upstairs and listened to some music. A few minutes later my phone rang, I picked it up and guess who it was. It was Nick! "Hey Becca!"

"Hey Nick How are you?"

"I'm doing pretty good , how about you?"

"I'm doing good too," I said

"So do you have anything planned today?" he asked

"No I get to just sit around and be bored all day probrally."

"Well, I was thinkin that maybe we could go somewhere today. Would you want to?"

"Of course! I'd love to! Where do you want to go?"

"Wanna go to the mall and then later on we could catch a movie and dinner?"

"Oh Nick it sounds great! What time?"

"How about 2?"

"Okay great see you then!"

"Bye" "Bye"

Oh my gosh! I am going on a date with Nick Carter!!! AHHH! So of course as soon as I hung up the phone I started getting ready! Everything had to be perfect! I put on my make-up, I fixed my hair, and I put on the nicest clothes I had.

It was almost 2 o'clock and I was almost ready. I had to get some money from my parents (even though I had my own!) And get my shoes on. About 10 minutes later Nick knocked on my door. I opened it up, "Hi Nick"

"Hey Becca, you look terrific!"

"Thanks you look REALLY good too!"

"So, are you ready to go?"

"Yeah!"

Minutes later we pulled up to the mall. He got out and being such a gentleman he opened my door! He took my hand and we walked inside. First off we hit the arcade! We played till we couldn't play anymore! By the way, I beat him in Mortal Combat. Girls Rule! Go Sonya! Anyways, back to what I was saying, after we got done with the arcade we went into Abercrombie and Fitch. That's one of my favorite stores so we had to stop and get something! I ended up getting some pants and a couple really cute shirts. Nick helped me pick them out! After we left there we went into the toy store. We found out we had a lot in common. We were both little kids at heart! After we almost got thrown out of there we decided we'd go and watch the movie now since it was already almost 5:00! We decided to watch Armageddon. It was movie we had both been wanting to see. I liked it because of Ben Affleck and Bruce Willis but Nick liked it because of all the action and explosives! That was probrally the only thing we didn't totally agree on all day! But can you blame me? Anyways back to Nick. When we got into the movie theatre we sat down in the very back. I love sitting in the back. Well we sat down just as the movie began. Nick put his arm around me and I felt like I was going to melt, but I moved closer to him and the good thing about the seats in the back is that you can put the arm rest up so it's out of the way. So that's exactly what we did, that way we could snuggle. :) We wer having such a good time, we didn't even realize that the movie was more than half way over. I didn't want the movie to EVER end! I mean come on, if you were in a dark theatre with the most hottest guy in the entire world's arm around you? You'd have to be crazy to want to leave! Well, back to what was going on, it was at the part where they had to drill a hole in the asteriod, that Nick turned and looked at me withthe best smile I have ever seen and kissed me! By the time we were done, they were already on their way back to earth!!! lol. When I finally snapped out of shock the moive was over, adn we were on our way to the restarant were Nick was taking me to eat. It was really fancy too. We got in and sat down at a table and the waiter brought us a menu. I told one look at the stuff and was totally discusted! Nick was too. "Sorry to be rude Nick, but I'm not really big on this fancy stuff, I mean these people actually expect us to eat fried snails and octupusses!?!?" And he couldn't have said anything better, "Don't worry, neither am I! I just heard this was a great place but, well...not for me! Do you by any chance happen to like hamburgers or pizza?" "I couldn't have said it better myself!" and so we got back in the car and Nick took us to McDonald's! I knew now, that he was difinately the man of my dreams! And he was totally different from what I thought he was probrally be! I figured he was some fancy eating, model dating, stuck up rich boy who thinks he's got it all, but in all reality he was a burger eating, NORMAL girl dating, down-to-earth sweetheart! And not to mention he was a WHOLE lot more finer in person! Well after we ate he drove me home. We sat and talked in his car for a few minutes then he walked me to my door. He looked at me and slowly started to ask me something. I could tell he was nervous about it. "Becca, I'm so glad that you moved in next door, today was more fun that anything I've ever done. Well exept being a Backstreet Boy. Even though we just met the other day, I really like you and your the type of girl that I've been looking for. And I know it's really soon but I want you to be my girlfriend. Will you?" It was a dream come true! Nick Carter just asked me out! "Oh Nick, of course I will!" and with that I kissed him and gave him the biggest hug! After I walked inside and finally made it safely up the stairs, I went to my room and went into my own little "world" for awhile. I was so busy daydreaming that I didn't even notice that it was almost 1:00 in the morning! I got undressed and went to bed.

The next morning I got up and checked the mail and the phone rang as I was coming inside. I quickly answered it and it was Nick! As he was telling me about some weird show he watched last night I looked through our mail and noticed a letter from my new school. I opened it and read it, school would be starting back soon and it had a schedule of all the days that we would be out and what I would need for my classes and that sort of stuff. It said that school would start back on August 28! Then it hit me! I only had 10 days to spend with Nick until I had to go back to school!!! After realizing this I screamed sooo loud and dropped the phone! I didn't mean to scream THAT loud! lol Nick quickly hung up and ran over to see what was wrong. He was almost out of breath but he managed to get a few words out "What's wrong! Are you okay?!?" I told him all about school and stuff and he promised that we'd spend all 10 days together ALL day too! I felt better but I still knew that when the day comes to go to school nothing is going to be the same. I'm gonna miss Nick so much! Well the 1st 8 days went by faster than they should have. Me and Nick had went everywhere and done everything together! We went to every arcade, movie theatre and amusement park in teh city of Orlando!! We were having such a blast. He even went with me to buy new school clothes and materials. I told you he was a sweetie! He even surprised with a gift!! It was a promise ring! He said that everytime I wore it to think of him and to think of the great times we've had and the great times to come and that he promises that he'll always be there and we'll always be together. It was the best gift anyone has ever given me. I cried. He took me in his arms and gave me the most perfect hug and kiss that anyone could give. After I realized I had 1 day left to spend with the love of my life. and we spent it doing nothing at all. All we did that day was stay at his house and cuddle and tell each other how muched we loved them and how we never wanted to let each other go. It was past midnight when I finally went home.
