Cancer The Crab
A Spell to Create a tough shell to protect and deffend a vulnerable interior.
You will Need.......................
A Small Box With Separate Lid. Aqua, Blue or Green Paper. Glue. Scissors. A Shell. Silver String.
Cancer is symbolised by a crab with a hard shell---tender underneath, yet tough on the outside. Although people born at this time are by nature soft-hearted, sensitive and compassionate, they, like most of us, can at times benefit from the ability to project an armour-plated exterior to the world. When you are feeling vulnerable, this spell can help build a protective shell to nestle into until you feel strong agian.
Method.......................................
Take a small box with a separate lid and cover both parts with green-, blue-, or aqua-coloured paper (symbolising the water the crab comes from). Snip off a few strands of your hair, place them and the seashell in the box, and put the lid on. Take some silver string and wind it around the box while saying:
'As i wind this string to bind, a box protection making. I will be strong as I go along, my heart is not for breaking. Should I fear, in any year, this charm I Shall remmber and know its power, in every hour, from January to December, Be it So!'
