Heh, why didn't you just tell her? And, I'm pretty honest.. so I would always just tell what happened. Unless I feared for my life or something then that would be a different story. LOL God Bless |

Funy you should ask. I just dropped my daughters project off at school, which was a poster board of Romeo and Juilet, She had to write an obit, wedding announcement, drawings, newspaper accounts, stuff like that for English. As I was waiting at the office for her to come and get it, I noticed that my 5 year old decided to add her own art work to the project..I quickly turned it around and handed it to my daughter..better she finds out while I'm not around. |

Well, honestly yes. And i can think of a cruel example right now. I was sooo mad at my dad, we got into a fight. So i went into the bathroom and took his blue water cup and put soap in it. He went in...and came out sooo mad. He said he took a big swig of it....LoL. I felt bad but denied the whole thing. |

Yeah, I think everyone does things like that sometimes! Sometimes it seems harder to hurt someones feelings than spit out the truth! At least you did finally tell her though! |

Once, when I was in 8th grade, my mom was supposed to pick me up after school to go to piano rehersal. I waited and waited, and no mom. I didn't know where she could be, since she was never late. I put my hands into my coat pockets, and my stomach sank to my toes. There were the car keys, in my pocket! I had totally forgotten, but that morning, I had picked up the keys, thinking mom would notice right away they were gone, you know just playing a joke on her. But I guess she didn't notice, and I forgot I had them. I called home, and mom was still there, looking for the extra key. She eventually picked me up, and I was too scared to tell her what I did. When we got home later, I put the keys behind something, so it looked like they fell back there. I never told her it was me who took the keys. All this time, she thought they just fell! |

Oh yes for the reason of not hurting someone I love. I can tell other people anything with no trouble! |

Yeah, I remember losing that lipstick and confession years later! I think I would have reacted badly hearing it at the time but really, it was my own fault for leaving the lipstick my pocket! I've held back on the truth many times. It's not that I'm deliberatlely lying (well, I guess I am) but it's usually about a subject I want to broach which I'm too afraid to bring up in case it doesn't go very well so I tend to drop hints in the hope they're picked up upon which they seldom are. |

I've actually remembered something which is prompted by the upcoming programme about what happened to the kids of Fame to be shown on one of our channels soon. This is a huge confession so don't be mad at me Mum, ok? When the film of Fame came out on the cinema, you agreed I could go with our neighbour (my age) and her older sister. You gave me the £1 admission to see the film and the three of went off to the cinema. When we got there, my friends sister waved us goodbye as she'd really arranged to see one of her friends and because they're from a strict asian family, she knew her parents wouldn't let her see her friend so used taking her sister and me to the cinema as a pretext. Well, the film must have been rated PG or something because when we went in to pay, we were refused admission because we were without an adult. My friend decided we should go to the Fair instead which was not far from the town hall near "The Bottle of Notes" sculpture. I panicked and said we shouldn't go. She persuaded me saying that we could make up what the film was about in case you asked. Well, that's what we did. I'm very sorry, Mum for spending that money on something other than what you gave it to me for. |
