I have Lupus and it gives me symptoms of Rheumatoid Athritis. I was paralyzed for over two weeks at one time from it. Until you get info, try talking Naproxen (Advil) Double the dose. It helps a bit. I am sorry you have this. |

I know a couple of people who have it. One guy had to quit working because he just couldn't take the pain. I'm not sure what he was on though. There is also a lady I know who has it. She said it is really painful, but with proper diet and exercise when she can, she says it helps. Also the doctors keep her on pain medication as well. Other than that I don't know much more about it. I'm sorry that you have this though. *hugs* God Bless |

I would see someone who specializes in this field. They can determine exactly what will work best for you. Some of the newer Cox-2 inhibitors work well without becoming addicted to pain meds. Could be a steroid shot might be needed every so often. A blood test, RA and ANA will help determine Rheumatoid Arthritis as the culprit behind the pain. |
