A few hours later they were on the midway and eating funnel cakes and ice cream, everything they could think of. They would probably be sick tomorrow but they didn't care, it's not fun to go unless you can eat everything in sight.
"Ohh, maybe we should use some of those ride tickets that you won. I mean it is kind of a waste to let them go to waste" Kayleigh smiled, glancing at the ferris wheel with a big smile on her face.
Madison laughed, "Oh, don't be obvious or anything. Well," she thought for a minute "I guess you're right, no need to let them go to waste when you didn't pay for them"
"Yea" Kayleigh yelled like a little kid and grabbed Madison hand, pulling her fast into the line.
It was starting to get dark out and by the time it was their turn you could no longer see the sun. All the lights around the fair began to come on.
Wow, this place is actually kind of pretty at night. Madison looked around and watched as each rides lights kicked on. Reds, Yellows, Oranges, Greens. The whole place was glowing with fun and excitment.
They climbed into the little car and the bar was lached over them so they wouldn't fall out.
The wheel stopped with them completly on top.
"Wow, what a veiw" Kayliegh smiled, glancing around at everything.
"Yeah, it's really pretty from up here. It almost.." Madison stopped mid sentence.
"Almost what"? Kayliegh asked
Madison stared off into the fair, lost in thought or some kind of trace.
"Madison, you okay"? Kayleigh nudged her friend in the side.
"Huh, oh, I'm fine" Madison replied. With one last glance down into the fair she turned her attention back to Kayleigh as the ride started to move again.
"You sure you're okay. Did you see something"? Kayleigh asked.
More like someone, Madison wanted to say, but couldn't. After Kayleigh said the guy could be a stalker she didn't want to scare her anymore.
"No just thought I saw someone from school, but it wasn't them" Madison replied.
After the ride they were walking down the midway, talking and laughing when Madison ran into something, or rather when she looked up, she realized it was someone. He smiled down out her and reached out his hand to steady her. She glanced up into his eye and quickly looked away, only to find herself drawn back to those eyes again.
If only she knew the secrets that those eyes held, if only someone could have warned her. She found herself staring into The Eyes of a Stranger, hypnotic, blue grey eyes, mysterious, gentle, but holding something back. She smiled up at the Stranger and then everything went black.....
OKay.. hmm good spot to leave off for now.. More to come soon... *Juls*
