I was at the mall last night with my friends and while i was in my fave store (American Eagle lol) i met this guy. He was sooo cute, and he seemed really nice. What happened was i would look over at him and he was looking back at me practically every time so we kind of kept smiling at each other. Well, as we were getting ready to leave the store, he called over to me and asked if i could give him my opinion. So, with my heart pounding 'cause this cute stranger had just talked to me lol, i went over and he asked me which flip flops i liked best and we talked about that for a little while and then he paused and asked me my name. I told him and he told me his, Joe, and then he shook my hand! lol So he asked where i was from and i told him (not the same city but they were next to each other) and i told him where i went to school and he asked if i played any sports and i told him what i play and he told me what he did (surfing and basketball). After that, we just kind of stood there and i really had this feeling that he liked me but after just standing there for a few minutes looking at each other and smiling, i said that i had to get back to my friends and then that was it. My friends were all happy for me, but i'm sitting here so mad at myself. I'm a very shy person around new people, so it's not like me to ask for his number or anything, but i feel like i should have done something. He had the best eyes and i feel like there was a connection. I'm sitting here telling myself that maybe he knows someone at my high school who can get my number for him or something, even i know that's pretty unrealistic.
