Play Station 2 help

Hey guys! I just bought Ghost Recon yesterday, and it was working fine. Well today when I started to play again all it does is say the whole system configuration thing while it's loading, but it never loads. I've tried my other games and they all load just fine. Have any of you ever had this problem and if so, could you give me some help please? Thanks!

Date: 6/15/2003 9:30:00 AM From Authorid: 51027 Hmmmm, this has happend many times to me i dont suppose you know what a config data system is? cause the way to fix it is to get into that in your ps2 or you may have to bring it to sony for them to do it or you might wanna rent the game again and see if it is just the disc but lemme tell you something by not playing ghost recon your not missing out on anything i didint like the control and it is extremly hard
