Today was the day....they took our couch away. We were renting a couch from Rent A Center but it was costing us too much to keep it. It was such a nice couch. So nice, that I haven't slept in my bedroom in months! LOL Honest!

They just took my couch away a few moments ago and I already miss it. *sob* Now, I have my futon in place of the couch until we get another one. We have two old couches in the garage but they're really old and about to tear apart. On the big couch, one of the woods on the back of the couch is poking out and it kept on scratching us.

*sniffles* I wish they could of just came over to our house and said that we could have it for free. LOL But paying $120.00 a month was just too much. We only had it for a couple months so we didn't spent too much money on it.

So now we're stuck with our futon till we get another couch. Anyone wanna lend me a couch?? LOL

Date: 7/10/2003 1:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 35114    LOL You can have my couches! But it would probably be more comfortable sitting on a jagged rock! LOL Our couches are all wood frames with a few flat cushions thrown on. So please go ahead and have 'em. LOL Sorry for your couchlessness however. Hope you get a nice soft, sinky one cheap!
Date: 7/10/2003 1:25:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Magneta Blue...I agree. LOL My bf really wanted to rent the couch at that time. And I told him that he would have to pay for it because it was just too much. I think the cost was between 1,000-2,000. Can you believe that?? LOL It was good to have for a lil while.
Date: 7/10/2003 1:27:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Kawaii....LOL Thanks though! The cats are missing the couch right now. It's so funny! I'm broke right now so I can't get a couch for a while...I think I have a couple pennies though. LOL I'll pay you in pennies! lol

Date: 7/10/2003 3:13:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Little Jung....LOL My bed room is like a ghost town. I rarely go in there. I feel more comfortable sleeping out in the living room. I must be weird...lol
Date: 7/10/2003 3:29:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    wow! it musta been a nice couch at that much per month!! we bought ours at the brick... but we NEEDED to get one.... i think in total EVEN with the defferal plan it only came to a lil over 500 bux
Date: 7/10/2003 3:30:00 PM  From Authorid: 44321    When our little couch and chair were on their last legs we were going to buy from the local shop, but his aunt was getting a different couch and gave us her sectional one and a coffee table :)
Date: 7/10/2003 3:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    never do the rent to own thing because you end up paying double for the item... when you get a little better off look into the brick thier "couches for less" is one we actually bought we also got a defferal plan what defers the payments for 8 months for an extra 50 bux so we have it on credit for 8 months to pay it off without interst you catch them on thier sales and they have some REALLY good prices!
Date: 7/10/2003 3:40:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Midnightly...Omg, it was SUCH a nice couch. It was so big, real soft and you can fit so many people on it. It was in a L shape and it pulls out to a big bed. I'm glad that we did get rid of it though because of the cost. But at least we didn't keep it that long and were able to sleep on such a nice couch.
Date: 7/10/2003 3:41:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Medusa...Our two old couchs lost it's legs. It was one of those screw on legs and it was always crooked.
Date: 7/10/2003 3:45:00 PM  From Authorid: 44321    Our chair had the roller balls on the bottom, and the 2 front ones fell off so if you sat on the chair you leaned forward LOL fun, fun, fun :)I once tried to stick them back on,but the minute you moved too much you fell forward :)
Date: 7/10/2003 3:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 44321    Not good if you were holding a drink lol
Date: 7/10/2003 3:51:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    punky my mom had something like that... she found it was more of a pain then it was worth.. moving those HUGE things oy!!
Date: 7/10/2003 4:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 44321    lets walk down couch memory lane ... the couch we had before the one we got rid of had no back leg ,we had to stick a big fat yellow pages book under it to keep it level LOL
Date: 7/10/2003 4:24:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    medusa! i know that feeling!!our last one was a futon!! what had peices of fabric taped under each one of the legs to keep it from scratching the floor to all heck, duct tape and claps holding up one of the broken bars also.. and a sheet covering the mattress because it had a few tears in it from the broken bars... it was soo far gone when we moved i didn't bring it with me in fear that if we set it up it would end up cuttinga hole in the carpet!
Date: 7/10/2003 4:50:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Medusa...LOL You're so silly :) I remember sitting on my old couch with one of my kittens when she was younger. One minute she was there, the next minute the couch ate her LOL She was okay though.
Date: 7/10/2003 4:55:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Midnightly...I remember when we first got our futon. We were doing monthly payments to get our futon. We were getting a queen size futon. When we finally paid our last payment, they workers said that we couldn't get our futon until 6-8 months! I was SO MAD! Just because they didn't have one in stock of that size. They told us that we could get our futon when we paid our last payment, not 6-8 months later. We really needed a new bed because me and my bf were sleeping on a twin mattress. (Let me tell you that it was not enough room for both of us..lol) So they gave us a Full size instead. That made me so mad. Never buying anything from that store again. LOL
Date: 7/10/2003 5:05:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    punky we slept on a inflateable mattress for a few weeks when we moved.. it was a temporary thing but i know many young people who sleep on them for nearly a year until they can afford a bed
Date: 7/10/2003 5:18:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Midnightly...We had to do that also before we got the twin mattress.
Date: 7/10/2003 6:06:00 PM  From Authorid: 62095    We had always had crappy furniture that was ugly but it was always comfy then just recently we bought a whole new set and it is all hard and uncomfortable. I used to love sleeping on the couch but now it is so stiff, I miss my old couch sometimes. *Cass*
Date: 7/11/2003 12:43:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Cass.....I know how that is. Our futon is so much stiffer than the couch and so much smaller.
Date: 7/11/2003 6:50:00 AM  From Authorid: 44321    One of my hubbys family had a futon as their couch and it had the wooden slats under the matress/cushion and after an hour of sitting there you felt every wooden slat hitting your butt, very uncomfortable. :)
Date: 7/11/2003 6:53:00 AM  From Authorid: 44321    When I was pregnant with my first son we slept on a twin bed ,talk about crowded LOL
Date: 7/11/2003 11:32:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    Medusa....Oh man, I just woke up a awhile ago and my muscels are so sore. Either I slept wrong or it's because of the futon. LOL
Date: 7/11/2003 11:47:00 AM  From Authorid: 44321    Futons are evil I tell you LOL
Date: 7/11/2003 11:48:00 AM  From Authorid: 44321    It may look stylish and convenient but they are made to keep chiropractors in business :P
Date: 7/11/2003 12:02:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53909    LOL The futon wasn't so evil before. Hopefully we'll be able to find a replacement soon.
