Alright, yesterday I went to the movies with the guy that I have liked for the past year (Martin) after I had called him to see if he wanted to go see one. So it was just the two of us that went, and I thought that things went fine, but I did not find it in anyway romantic. Sure, he was kinda leaning in my direction during the movie, and he had his legs crossed toward me some of the time, but I can't really rely on those mixed signals to tell me anything. When he was about to leave after the movie, things seemed a little awkward because my mom was right there (she actually did not mean to be there at that time), but whenever I said bye to him to kind of close the few awkward silences, he kind of stuck around looking at me for a few more moments, like he wanted to say something, but he couldn't. Then I remember that my mom said, "hope to see you again", but I don't really remember his response - he either said "yeah" or nodded. I don't know. But anyways, I was wondering first of all, what he thought of the whole "date" (though I don't know if you could call it a date), and if his seeming awkwardness was due to him just being shy. And I am wondering if we will do anything else this summer (either me calling him/him calling me). I did think that there has to be a little something in the back of his mind about me to agree to seeing a movie one-on-one with me. Thank you and God Bless. ~Ozzychick
