The flowers, cursed and blackened, with no sound, fall scattered upon the barren ground. She of beauty knelt in rapture rare... moisture beads as black as The pits of hades caressed her hair, all around from where she walked, pooled about her feet... she knows deceit, it falls easily from her lips ... as blood... In the night she has stood, The stones uneven, hid her trail; the surface hard as wood, No danger that hounds could trace her blooded scent, no danger her unlife would fail her race. ... unearthly Lara.
The cloth that sways about her legs, many years has caught the breezes and sullen evil stays... from the heather and the peat; humid, earthy smells, the bitter... the sweet, memories of a bed of stone... the decaying stench of forget-me-nots, and flowers never in a home- roses, peonies, and others... colors merging to gray and brown. In the distance the twinkling lights of town. In the moments beyond the twilight and the gray tints the vision... unearthly sight- but Vincent sees he who changed, in death his life rearranged, who did not want to; He who walks silently on stones alone... No life wants to hold, his family lost to him; his soul the devil sold... Now in forests pursuing those he once loved now can never... He must move on, his life not life, ended here in shadow; halted in darkness strife. He remembers those that once belonged, that now are parted... the songs of birds, those whispered words... the echoes of the broken hearted go unspoken.. But he vows that Lara, the hated, the blood-song, he shall right what's wrong... his hunger sated with revenge, she shall one night cease to part her lips, and he shall strike, while once she sips, of life, and love of holy light it fades to night, and passion... her passion death. He waits with stillness the silence of his breath on darkest night.
He waits knowing he cannot leave until there is only one. But how, he howls to the silent moon, do I want has begun... hoping it can tell him how does the undead kill the undead and watch their unlife slip away when neither has access to the light of day?
Still he waits...
