Confused (song)   Author: 43318  Category:(Poetry) Created:(7/10/2003 4:50:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (386 times) No more lies, no more tears No more sweat and no more fears My mind is twirling in a storm of confusion I'm seein' illusions I look around but have no clue where I'm at All I see is a broad side of a baseball bat SWING, home run gone over the fence The team just won, but why do I feel so tense Our team was on the offense the entire game The defense,... we put to shame I wake up from a dream that almost seemed real In the dream I could hear, taste, smell, see, and feel So what was stoppin' it from bein' real No more sweat, no more tears No more lies and no more fears Again my mind seems to be driftin' off I choke and suddenly begin to cough I drank poison but didn't realize I did it Some way I gotta quit it I fall down, it's fadin' to black I wanted to go after you, but myself I attacked Now I'm dyin', I'm gonna be buried six feet under I hear the rain, lightening, and the thunder BOOOOOOOOM!
