I think it's just sexual relations that's illeagle. I don't think it's illeagle to date or kiss someone under 18 if you're 18, as long as you don't go too far. I'm not sure though. Erin-  |

It's not illegal for an 18 year old to date someone under 18. HOWEVER, in SOME states, it is illegal for 18 years olds to engage in sexual relations with anyone under the age of 18. It depends on the state. In my state, the age of consent is 16 and at that age, you can have sex with pretty much anyone you want.  |

And if Princess Leo's cousin and boyfriend lived in MY state (Pennsylvania) they would be allowed to have sex as long as they were 12 years or older because her boyfriend is only 1 year older than her. (There's a 4 year difference rule in PA.. ie: if you're 13, you can have sex with anyone up to but not including age 17.. when you're 16, the rule doesn't apply anymore.) |

its called statutory rape when someone over the age of consent has sexual relations with someone under the age of consent. A parent can force the issue and have the offender arrested, so can the police.  |

I may be mistaken but I believe it is sexual contact, not "relations" as in the actual act of sex. Which technically means that whichever state you live in and whatever age limit you are at, kissing would count too as it is sexual contact.  |

It depends where you live, in Arizona, you can date an adult with parental permission and you cant have sex. My boyfriend is 3 years older than me, and he turned 18 this year, so legally we CAN date, but we cant have sex.  |
