okay, this riddle is kinda tricky for me so if you know the answer, please just go ahead a post it below! thanks!

A king was put in a room with two doors and two guards. One guard will always lie, one guard will always tell the truth. One door will lead to life, one will lead to death. What is the one question that the king can ask that is guaranteed to him to the door that leads to life? Hints: The king is allowed only one question. The king does not know which guard is which.

Date: 7/11/2003 3:16:00 AM  From Authorid: 36901    He asks one guard which door the other guard would go through then he chooses the opposite door.
Date: 7/11/2003 6:21:00 AM  From Authorid: 37449    He asks, "If I ask the other brother which way to go, what will he say?" and then go the other way. :P. Explain??-> If he asks the truth telling one, he always tells the truth and he knows the other one lies so he would say the wrong way. and if u ask the lying one, he knows his brother would tell the truth(and would say go the other way), but he always lies so he says the wrong way. :)
Date: 7/11/2003 7:46:00 AM  From Authorid: 58078    Basically what Cujo said...He will ask one of the guards which way to the life path, the one telling the truth will point to the life path and lying will point to the death path cause he lies so he will go the opposite way. Wait this isn't right because he does he know the truth guy isn't the liar. Wait I posted this somewhere in my riddles a while back...I'll have to go find out now...lol
