Or set something up ,like a garage sale and sell your braclets at home.Or go to a local shop and see if you can get them to sell your braclets out of the shop and get business that way too. |

You could try baby sitting or doing a maid service thing. Or how about try selling your braclets on Ebay or doing a garage sale? |

If you have any old movies, cds or stuff like that you could try selling some to a pawn shop. My brother wants to do that to try to get some money. |

i know the feeling i've dropped off resumes all over and places that said they would call and really sounded like they would haven't called it' frustrating.... my BF and i are living off HIS EI check that JUST covers our bills(if we didn't have a roommate we wouldn't be making it!) it's frustrating!! i have a good work history... but i feel helpless and unemployable... no one wants me this is the first time in my life i've felt this way about working... |

Don't feel bad, I've been looking for a job as well. I've put in applications every where. I have no work experience (which I know doesn't look good). But how are you to work if no one will hire you? Gr, I've had places say they will call, and they never do, I've even called them to see if they looked at my job application. I always get a story too. It makes me mad, I need to make money just as well. I'm not selling anything on the USM mall. But the only thing I can say is keep looking. Good Luck! |

I was having the same problem this summer and who knows why... I had great references, lots of experience... basically i'd be the perfect person to hire at a lot of places. I applied constantly to about 20 places and never once did I get called back. I feel I always made a great impression too and often talked to the manager. Then my boyfriend, who has LESS job experience than me, applied to 3 places and only three places, and heard back from every one!! The only reason I ended up getting a job at all was because he then referred me when he was hired at one of the places (he was employed easily at all 3). I do not understand... The only advice I can give you is keep trying but the unemplyment rate is unfortunately up right now. Good luck to you. |

Princess Leo: Do you mean you signed up on the USM mall and haven't sold anything? or you just don't sell stuff at all? Well, I know its confusing, you need experience to get a job but you can't get experience without a job. |

i know what you mean, where I live hardly anyone is hiring. My dad made me quit my job earlier this year b/c of my grades; and now I can't get a job! And I need one by the time school starts! and I'm a senior so I need to start saving money for when I graduate. I hope you and I both find a job soon!:-) |

If your a good salesperson You can also make really good money selling..Avon, and Mark. cosmetics. My mom does that and she does pretty good. If you are younger MARK is a good choice cause they will work with young people. It would be worth a try..:D |
