Here is what I found on a search online....Q - I washed some white clothes with some colored clothes. The red color from one garment transferred to the white clothes. Is there a way to remove the red and pink stains? A - The stain you describe is called a dye transfer and may be impossible to remove by any method. Fabrics that have picked up dyes should not be dried in the dryer. Once dried, the transferred dye may become permanent. Also, if possible, try to remove the stain before the fabric air-dries by washing the items again using detergent and bleach. A color remover or chlorine bleach can be used on white... |
