I have been at my current job for almost 9 years, and things are getting reeeally rough. See a couple of years ago the management decided it was best for the company to get rid of my boss. Well, his replacement is such a creep. At that time I had been a supervisor for a year. At first I tried to go with the flow, he had many different ideas which I support. Change can be a good thing. Well just the other week I heard from a co-worker that I was no longer a supervisor just a "leader" What a slap in the face that was. The thing is that my replacement has only been there for 5 years and knows nothing about my department. So I stompped off to the office to find out what was going on and why I had to hear it from a co-worker instead of the management. Well, I have been trying to get this cleared up for over two weeks and he seems to be avoiding me. I can't get any answers....I don't think that I am wrong I think that he should have been mature enough to tell me. Now I feel that I have to talk to the big boss and no one else, that way he hears it from me and no one else!
Anyways, after putting in so much time, and devoting myself...yup I use to be dedicated..I have earned two weeks vacation and a week of personsal time. I have become very comfortable with my job and the people that I work with. Well, I have my foot in the door at 2 other companies, and I would make a little more money at either one of them, but is it worth giving up all the time that I have with my current job. I have beaten myself up about this. The question that I am trying to ask is what would you do? Start over or hang in there????? Thanks for taking the time to read this. I am very confused and any advice or suggestion would be helpful. Thanks in advance!!
