Most females get them when they are teens, we get them because we develop so fast and our skin wasn't ready for it and stretches. There is still hope though, stretch marks eventually fade over the years, but don't competely go away. |

i've also heard that cocoa butter helps but you have to use it everyday or twice a day i'm not really sure.if you know a doctor or the next time you go to a doctor ask them or call the drug store and ask the pharmacist. Hamb918 |

You get stretch marks from sudden growth spurts. Also not to be mean, If you gain a lot of weight in a short period of time that can happen . You can never really get rid of them. They might fade after time though. |

okay, having had a baby and a LOT of stretch marks, the cocoa butter does work... to a point they fade alot, but try exercising so your skin tightens and stuff. They will never fully go away but they will defenatly fade to be almost completely unnoticeable |

They just happen with puberty, when your body grows very rapidly. In girls they're usually on the sides of the hips and thighs. They're very common and they generally turn white within a year or two. They're growth marks. ;) |

Stretch marks are caused by rapid growing and stretching of the skin, obviously you've had a growth spurt. Nothing abnormal about this. They will fade in time. Amanda1 |
