and after a year i went to school... i think it's a healthier way to go.. takeing a year off before going back to school... need the time to re-group see what is out there and don't overwhem yourself with school... i know people who went and got a 4 year degree right outta high school... they felt dead by the end of it... they started not to care about the education as much |

I did a course for office administration, got my foot in the door for employment so I could pay my rent. It was a smart move actually, every business needs a receptionist. I am not doing University though to get into clinical psychology. It took me a few years to figure out exactly what I wanted to do. |

Not by choice, had to work 2 full time jobs at once for 2 years. I was nothing but a robot then, didn't have a life and all I did was dream. I had a late start but hopefully things will work out. Just believe in yourself and don't give up |

When I graduated from High School, I was extremely terrified of the real world. But I hit it head first..lol. I worked...and drifted around to different jobs that didn't make me happy. I had no idea what it was I wanted to do. Then I finally, at the age of 26, decided that I wanted to be a sociologist, so I went back to school. I am currently in my second semester of college. It is good that you know what you want to do. |

Well, a month after graduation I got married. Had a baby a year later, divorced six years later and now I feel like I wasted that six years. I wish I had gone to college and gotten somewhere in my life. I had such dreams. I wanted to be a singer, a pilot, a gymnast. Now I'm a single mother trying to survive on a small income. I can't say I'm not happy. I've learned alot. I'm only 27 but I feel much older. I didn't have the experience in life like most people my age have. I didn't go to school and obtain a degree in something that I did or didn't like. I would like to have that chance back, yet I can't. I wouldn't trade my kids in for anything. I have my own home that's paid for a great boyfreind that respects and loves me. I couldn't ask for more. I will always look back though and think of what I might have become otherwise. I hope that you dream your dreams and that you live them. Go to college. Do something worthwhile, whatever makes you happy. If it's a family then go for it. Have no regrets. Good Luck. |

I was working part time when I graduated. For the first two months, I spent a lot of time partying and having fun waiting for my entry date for bootcamp. After that, I went in the Navy. |

I went to work in a grocery store. I partied it up for about a year and then married my highschool sweetheart. It was a good time. I didn't even think about college until I was in my 30s. I don't suggest waiting that long but it was right for me. |

I think I went out drinking :P and then I got a job at a gas station. I stayed there for about a year and then started working in the dealership across the street. What started as something "just for now" turned into a 10 year "career". When I got sick of all that, I went to beauty school and got licensed to do nails... that got old very quickly. Then I took a couple years off. When I went back to work, I worked for an unfinished furniture store finishing furniture... around my 4th month there, I found out I was pregnant and had to quit. I still haven't figured out what I REALLY want to do with my life.... there are so many things I'd like to do. |
