I don't have a job but I'll have to get one soon....life is a job itself. When you get a fulltime job, make it something that interests you and you won't get bored with easy, hey who says work has to be work :) |

Well I work with intellctually disabled people and I love my job. I started this field in 98, my senior year. Throught the years I tried a few different areas, like factory, and decided Ill stay with the job I am at now. I have been in the job for well over a year and honestly I dont think there is a better job, unless you got some high tech degree. Even then I think helping people improve there live and getting them involved is way more important. There is no satifaction better then realizing what you do has a positive affect on someones life and how they really appreciate it. |

I hate to sound like my mother but dark thoughts bring despair, try being positive & think only good thoughts (like PAYCHECKS)Give it a week then try somewhere else if you can, most of the time its the people who will make you comfortable or miserable,I really hope it works out for you.Best Wishes |

Every job I ever had I hated the first month or so. And I've had many jobs. What you really hate is how difficult it is right now but it will get easier and more comfortable if you stick with it. You'll get to know the customers and start looking forward to seeing everyone. My current job is as an office manager for an electrical contractor. I hated it for about 3 months and can't believe I'm still there a year and a half later. The boss was rude and condesending. He still is, but I learned to deal with it. We have a mutual respect for each other now. He keeps his mouth shut and I cover his butt when he screws up. He has even said to many people (but not to me) That he wouldn't be in business if it weren't for me keeping things going. I don't hate my jobe but I DO hate the fact that I have to get up every morning and go there when I'ld rather be doing something else. But at least I get paid well for it. |

I am also part of the resturant business, it is very fast paced, and can.. well take up a lot of time! I know that, and I feel ya! No worries about the orders, mistakes happen! And you are new at it, they should understand that! I am lucky at my job, because I was with the resturant when it first opened (about 3 months ago) so the majority of us had not experience what-so-ever. I actually really enjoy my job, sorry your's isn't clicking. |

I love my job! I wouldn't trade it in for anything. I mean yeah, there are days when I don't wanna go, but it's just because I don't wanna get around or I have other things I'd rather do. But for the most part, I love it. |
