If you rubbed it you probably did cut your eye my husband does body work and when he works he gets bondo dust in his eye and sometimes little metal shavings. It does hurt just try not to rub it and rinse it with water for a few minutes maybe if you have like a little medicine cup you could fill it with water then put it on your eye with the eye open and let it rinse it out or try some eye drops. |

Lord Ox, if it was dust, it may hurt for awhile then subside. If the pain is still there tomorrow, then go have the eye checked. The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. The next day, the doctor found a very small piece of metal in the eye. In fact, it was so small he almost missed it the first time he looked at the eye. |

I still have a horrible eye infection that I can't seem to shake. I've found that an axe works pretty well, though. |

if it doesn't get any better go to the eye doctor cause there could be something serious and you don't want to lose your eye. Hamb918 |

check to see if you have something wrapped up in your eye lashes.... when I've gone through all of that and it still hurts, there's usually a little strand of cotton or something weaved through my eyelashes with just a little bit rubbing on my eyeball... and it hurts just as bad as if there was a boulder in there :o) |

if you have tried all these suggestions and it still hurts go and see a doctor...our eyesight is too precious to muck around with....hugs |
